Dealers are under a strict "Stop Sale" order for affected vehicles.

• IMPORTANT: It is a violation of Federal law for dealers to sell or deliver new vehicles in their inventory covered by this notification until the campaign's remedy action is performed.
• Dealers must not sell, lease, trade, rent or loan any vehicles in dealer inventory subject to this recall campaign until after the vehicle has been remedied.

Owners should be aware that if their vehicle is subject to this campaign, they will receive an Owner Notification letter from Nissan. This letter will instruct owners to bring their vehicles to a Nissan dealer to have the necessary repairs completed as soon as possible.

Owners of 2024 Nissan Sentra vehicles can check if their car is part of this recall by visiting a Nissan dealer. Dealers can verify affected vehicles using Service Comm or DBS National Service history, referencing Campaign I.D. PMA38. Nissan will begin notifying owners of potentially affected vehicles via U.S. Mail starting in August 2024.

Manufacturer's Remedy

The corrective action for the 2024 Nissan Sentra windshield air bubbles involves a two-step process performed by authorized Nissan dealers:

1. Inspection: Dealers will inspect the windshield for the presence of air bubbles.
2. Replacement: If air bubbles are detected, the windshield will be replaced with a new one.

This service will be performed free of charge for parts and labor. The estimated time for this corrective action is up to three (3.0) hours. However, the actual time may vary based on the dealer's work schedule.

For the necessary parts to complete this remedy, dealers should refer to Technical Bulletin NTB24-033. Parts are available and can be ordered through the normal process.
