This bulletin applies to 2022-2025 Jeep Renegade, 2022-2025 Jeep Commander, and 2022-2025 Jeep Compass vehicles built on or before July 31, 2025 (MDH 0731XX). Affected vehicles are equipped with a 1.3L I4 Turbo MAIR DI Engine with ESS E100 (Sales Code EYJ).

This bulletin, TSB 14-009-25 REV. D, supersedes Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) 14-009-25 REV. C, which was issued on December 18, 2025. Any previous versions should be removed from your files. While the bulletin indicates applicability to North America, it specifically notes that it applies to the South America market. After applying the repair outlined in this TSB, it is not necessary to send DID-I or DID-A data.

Beyond the warning light, common symptoms that indicate a potential fuel injector leak include "Unstable idle" and "Abnormal engine noise." Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)

If your vehicle is experiencing a fuel injector leak, the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) will likely be illuminated, and one or more of the following DTCs may be set:

• P0087-00: Fuel Line Pressure Sensor - Bank 1 - Pressure Below Limit.
• P0300-00: Multiple Cylinder Misfire.
• P0301-00: Cylinder 1 Misfire.
• P0302-00: Cylinder 2 Misfire.
• P0303-00: Cylinder 3 Misfire.
• P0304-00: Cylinder 4 Misfire.
• P006C-00: Air Pressure and Temperature Sensor - Correlation.

Diagnosis Process

The diagnostic steps involve removing the spark plugs and then inspecting each injector with the Endoscope. During this inspection, a helper will turn the ignition key on (without starting the vehicle) and keep it on for one minute per injector. This process helps to identify any defective injectors.
