2024-2025 Jeep Compass Fuel Tank Breather Tube Loose TSB

4. Check Connection Status: Determine if the fuel breather tubes are properly connected to the fuel pump. If they are already connected, the inspection labor operation (14-70-10-9B) should be closed, and the technician can proceed to reassembly.
5. Reconnect Tubes (if necessary): If the tubes are found to be disconnected, the red tamper-proof cover must be removed, and the fuel breather tubes properly connected to the fuel pump. (Refer to Fig. 3 for the connection points).
6. Reassembly: Once the connections are secured, the rear seat cushion should be lowered and both seat cushion locks engaged. (Refer to Fig. 4 in the TSB for seat cushion lock details).
