• The rearview mirror BRACKET/SLUG MUST be detached or loose from the windshield. Technicians must remove the housing to confirm this condition and capture a photo of the detached or loose rearview mirror.
• Technical Information & Support (TIS) will NOT accept a vehicle wih a BRACKET/SLUG still attached to the windshield.
• Minor cracks and chips on the windshield are acceptable, provided the rearview mirror bracket is detached or loose.
• If the windshield was previously replaced, it must have been done using a genuine Honda part.
• The vehicle must not have been involved in a collision.
• No repair attempts for this specific issue should have been made during the current service visit.
