The correction for this issue involves programming and coding the Basic Central Platform (BCP) control unit. This must be done using ISTA 4.46.1x software or a higher version. This programming ensures the Remote-Control Parking token is activated correctly.

1. Determine Current Software Level: Technicians must first determine the vehicle's current I-level using either the AIR or AWP applications.
2. Program the Vehicle: The vehicle must then be programmed using ISTA 4.46.1x or higher. This software version was released in late February 2024.

   • For F95 (X5 M), F96 (X6 M), G05 (X5), G06 (X6), G07 (X7) models: S18A-24-03-525 or higher.
   • For G70 (7 Series Sedan & i7 Sedan) models: G070-24-03-525 or higher.

It is crucial to connect a BMW-approved battery charger/power supply (refer to SI B04 23 10) when performing any programming to prevent voltage drops that could damage control modules.
