4. Fine-Tuning: The height knob is then rotated clockwise (CW) until the light pattern of the headlight precisely aligns with the horizontal target line.
5. Final Rotation: After alignment, the height adjusting knob is rotated counterclockwise (CCW) by approximately 3.5 turns. It is critical that the headlight pattern does not move during this final step. If the knob is turned too far and the light pattern changes, steps 2-4 must be repeated.
6. Verification: Once the adjustment is complete, the locking pin is reinstalled into the height adjusting knob, and the repair is verified.

Claim Information

Reimbursement for this action is processed through normal claim entry using specific work package information. The bulletin provides two distinct work packages depending on the vehicle's status:

• Work Package #1 (Repair Code 0063040200): This applies to new in-stock vehicles or those with no in-service date. The Labor Operation is 0078681, described as "Adjust (both) low beam headlights (Includes checking/correcting tire pressures)", with a Labor Allowance of 3 FRU.
• Work Package #2: This applies if the vehicle is already in the workshop for another reason or repair. The Labor Operation is 0078151, also described as "Adjust (both) low beam headlights (Includes checking/correcting tire pressures)", but with a Labor Allowance of 5 FRU.

Only one of these flat rate labor operation codes can be used for claim submission and reimbursement per workshop visit. When submitting a claim, technicians must reference the SIB number, a brief description of the issue, and the work package number performed (e.g., "B63 03 25 Adjust Low Beam Headlights WP 1") in the claim comments.
