• Specific HV certifications, such as ST2324 High Voltage Drivetrain Systems, ST1824 Alternative Drive Part 1, ST2205 Generation 5 High-voltage class, ST2006 – SP44 HV Battery, and ST2325 for High Voltage Battery Systems, are required depending on the vehicle generation and specific HV component being serviced.

Owners of affected 2022 BMW iX vehicles may notice specific warnings and changes in steering behavior. The primary symptom is a check control (CC) message appearing on the instrument cluster stating: "Steering behavior. Drive moderately. Have it checked by the nearest service partner."
