2. Create a Template: Fashion a template from a manila folder or card stock using the specified dimensions. This ensures consistent and replicable placement without needing to measure each time.
3. Mark Screw Locations: Use a hole-punch on the template to mark the exact locations where the screws will be attached. Align the template with the Audi Rings motif and mark the screw points through the template onto the bumper.
4. Drill Holes: Drill two 3mm (1/8 inch) diameter holes. It is crucial that these holes are no deeper than 15mm (19/32 inch). Technicians are advised to mark the 15mm depth on the drill bit with tape to prevent over-drilling.
5. Install Screws: Secure the front license plate using two self-tapping screws (part number N 909 747 01). Torque these screws to 2.0 Newton-meters (Nm).
