Attachments for the front coolant connections (9J1.122.293.J and 9J1.122.293.K) must then be fitted. Technicians must also replace stretch bolts and check rubber bushes for wear, replacing them if necessary (Figures 3 and 4).

Subsequently, the rear brackets 9J1.804.695/.696 (Figure 5) are fitted to the high-voltage battery and torqued to specification. The installation of the new high-voltage battery 9J1.915.590.* continues by performing work according to the Workshop Manual "Removing and installing high-voltage battery 1 AX2" up to the step for "Re-energizing high-voltage system." The high-voltage system is then re-energized by entering specific SVM codes.

Finally, the reinforcement plate is renewed to the geometry of the e-tron GT PU. This involves replacing reinforcement plate 9J1.407.129.F with 9J1.407.129.J (Figure 6). This step refers to the Workshop Manual section "Running gear; Rep. gr. 40; Subframe; Assembly overview – Removing and installing subframe reinforcement."

Re-energizing and SVM Codes

After the physical replacement of the Audi e-tron GT high-voltage battery, the system must be re-energized. This is done via "Flash" mode and SVM (Software Version Management) - Authorized Multiple Code Entry.
