2021-2022 Audi e-tron Low Energy Consumption Display TSB

This TSB supersedes an earlier bulletin, Group 90 number 22-37, dated January 21, 2022, and also replaces Pending Service Solution (PSS) TSB 2063789/1.

Symptoms

Owners may notice that the average long-term energy consumption displayed in the instrument cluster is "implausibly low." This issue typically begins to appear after the vehicle has been driven for approximately 3,000 miles. If the long-term memory for energy consumption is reset, the display will temporarily show correct values but will become inaccurate again after another 3,000 miles of driving. This is the core of the Audi e-tron low energy consumption problem.

According to Audi, the root cause of the inaccurate display is a software malfunction within the instrument cluster. This software error leads to incorrect calculation and presentation of the average long-term energy consumption values.

Repair Procedure Summary
