Holiday trip from Alabama to New York on [XXX] the fuel gauges (2 warning systems) malfunctioned. Since new the fuel gauge always read 415-420 “Miles to empty” after fueling, no wait. In the trip at one point after fueling the gauge started showing 24 miles until empty on a full take. This was after driving and stopping for lunch or snacks somewhere along the way. Not knowing which gauge was correct made us stop more frequently for fuel. After this event the “Miles to Empty” has never went back to the original 415-422. The miles to empty has been sporadic from 24, 100+, 200+, 300+ And last night 370. I filed a complaint with Toyota and was given a case number. The dealer says “they’ve never heard of it”. There are reports of this problem starting in 2022 and up models all over the internet but the dealer says “you can’t trust people on the www”. Actually I do trust most of the Toyota Tundra users that are reporting these problems. This problem could cause drivers/ families to be stranded for various fuel reasons. As stated for my 1100 mile trip to and from NY it made me stop more frequently for fuel so I wouldn’t chance being stranded with my family of 4. I shared a video and photo with Toyota when I opened the case. Now I am driving around helping them to figure out the problem since they refused to provide me a loaner car so they could research the problem. At the time of the initial event the gauge stayed at 24 miles to empty until I stopped for fuel. After getting the next tank the reading was sporadic until at some point going to the 300’s reading but has never returned to the 415-422 reading that it had been for the full year prior. Hesitation from a stop. Vehicle isn’t following pedal input and at times can put me into a side collision. Lane keep assist is dangerous and throws me off the road constantly. At times the lane assist will fight my input at the wheel and pull me off-road and over the lines.

The vehicle has a delay in the throttle in some situations immediately following a deceleration. For example, when braking onto a yielding on ramp to check for traffic while coming to a near stop then pressing the throttle there is an obvious lag. That second or so of lag often results in the tires spinning due to a spike in throttle. In more than one instance I've experienced it from a dead stop but this is not as common as a slow deceleration to a roll.

After making a complete stop, there is an extended delay around 3 seconds before the truck responds to the gas pedal being pressed. When it does respond it launches forward and causes the tires to break free. This has almost caused at least 7 accidents.

Occasionally when accelerator is pressed at a stop sign or light there is hesitation before the engine rpms increase. Also happens frequently going up my steep driveway at under 5mph, at half to 3/4 up my 100 yard driveway it will just almost stall out to an idle for a few seconds then will continue on as nothing happened

Excessive hesitation in acceleration from stop or slow start. No warnings displayed car has less than 18000 miles. The excessive hesitation poses a real danger when pulling into traffic or trying to avoid an accident. The truck can randomly take several seconds to respond to accelerator input. This issue halls been reported my many 2022 and later Tundra owner.

POWER TRAIN
When accelerating from a stop, occasionally my truck has a delay in acceleration. Typically worse when cold and consistantly reproducable within 5 minutes of cold start. My concern is primarily when turning into traffic on cold mornings. Earlier this week the delay seemed to be 2 or 3 seconds and I had to make a split-second decision to not pull out when previously I had plenty of space to get across the intersection. I have been experiencing this since I purchased the vehicle with ~24k miles on the odometer (currently more than 50k). The vehicle was brought to the dealership for inspection on this issue 2 times while under warranty. Dealer states they were unable to reproduce, but asked I leave the vehicle with them for an extended period of time (several days) for diagnosis, but without the option for a loaner car to cover my travels. I declined because it was my only vehicle at the time.
