I am experiencing severe/violent front brake vibration during prolonged steep downhill descents. The vibration occurs while braking on the descent and returns to normal once I reach the bottom. It lead so severe it shook the entire vehicle.

Was driving at freeway speed on a straight freeway when suddenly vehicle looses control. Vehicle begins to sharply zig zag across the freeway at freeway speed! Could not control the vehicle at first, zig zagging lasted about 5-6 seconds. Nothing came up on the dashboard. Somehow managed to pull it over, I was so scared. Checked tires to see if anything was wrong. All tires seemed fine and once again reiterating nothing came up on dashboard. We continued on to our destination with caution, slower speed, with hazard lights on because all tires were fine when we checked and nothing came up on the dashboard. 20-30 min later the zig zagging began again but since we were cautious at slow speed we quickly pulled over. I also want to note this second time that this happened the headlights turned off on its own. We had to get our vehicle towed because this was clearly a huge safety issue even if nothing on the dashboard popped up and all tires were good (no flat tires or nails or anything). I wanted to put this online so there is a record of this, written, and to the public in case this happens to someone else or if anyone is considering buying this vehicle to please read and consider this incident that happened to me. There could’ve been an accident, there could’ve been fatalities, this was a near death experience caused by this vehicle. I could not drive anymore after this due to being scared of this happening again, I am traumatized and likely will need therapy or help. I am not sure what could’ve caused this to happen, but my guess is it’s an electrical problem, a defected electrical issue on these vehicles that caused this near death experience. Please be aware people. This is a brand new car, 2026 with barely 8,800 miles, this is supposed to have the best parts, best engine, no defects yet I was in a near death experience in this vehicle. Luckily I am alive to write this on here and make it aware to the public. But what if this incident led to something worse.

I have been having a problem with the seatbelts on this Sequoia for many years and I have had to go into the dealership several times to get help with stuck seatbelts, seatbelts that didn’t retract and seatbelts that weren’t tight enough. I was told after a service visit that Toyota approved a rear middle row seatbelt replacement, but started having other mechanical issues and never scheduled the repair. After getting help for the last time I instructed my kids to be very gentle with the seatbelts and that seemed to help for a long time. They weren’t tight enough, but they were retractable if pulled slowly and carefully. They did get stuck again, but I carefully fed them back into the tract. Well, now I have a seatbelt that will not retract and that Is fully pulled out and not functioning at all, which is a serious safety risk for my daughter and any other passengers that may be in my vehicle. Toyota is now claiming that they have no case file about this issue and that I’m out of luck and will need to pay for the repair myself. It’s terrible that Toyota can hide serious safety design flaws, fail to input claims as promised, not input complaints when you visit for a concern, and not be punished. This is a flawed lifesaving automobile feature that should be corrected.
