2025 Ram Limited. Front ParkSense camera (the camera that automatically activates when Front ParkSense detects an object) shuts off after the vehicle is turned off and left overnight. Every morning the system must be manually re-enabled in Uconnect settings before the front camera will activate again during parking maneuvers. This occurs consistently after the truck sits overnight. The issue does not stay enabled across ignition cycles when the vehicle is left parked for several hours. I took the vehicle to the dealer; they found no issue. I also contacted Ram customer service, who stated there is no known issue with this condition. No crash, injury, or property damage has occurred, but the daily loss of the front camera view reduces the effectiveness of the ParkSense system during low-speed parking and could contribute to a collision in tight spaces.

The brakes failed suddenly without warning on XXX. The vehicle was towed to Daytona Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram in [XXX], where it was purchased new on XXX. The dealer diagnosed and replaced the ABS Module, but still got faults. They then diagnosed and replaced the Brake Booster, but testing showed that the replacement Booster was leaking, so it was replaced again. After the second booster was installed, a leak was discovered in the Master Cylinder, which they say must now be replaced. The vehicle has been in the repair shop for 28 consecutive days, and three attempts to repair it have failed. When the brake failure first occurred on XXX, multiple warning lights illuminated - 6 or 7 - and messages to service the brakes and other components were displayed on subsequent start up. There were no indications at all prior to the failure. In fact, the vehicle had recently returned from a 2,800 mile trip with no problems at all. The vehicle has 19,060 miles on the odometer. I now have zero confidence that the brakes will be safe. Luckily this occurred in a parking lot where I was able to safely deal with it. Had this happened during the recent long trip, my wife and I (I'm [XXX] and she is [XXX]) would have been stranded somewhere far from home. Had it occurred while driving at highway speed on XXX in heavy traffic, it could have been disastrous for me and my wife, and also other motorists. I contacted FCA US LLC and the Customer Service Rep assigned Case# XXX. I have requested printouts of all diagnostics, repair attempts, and repairs from Daytona Dodge. - #11772070October 19, 2026ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, EXTERIOR LIGHTING, LANE DEPARTURE: BLIND SPOT DETECTION
I purchased my 2025 RAM 1500 Rebel new on XXX. Since purchasing the vehicle, I have experienced repeated malfunctions of the digital instrument cluster (gauge cluster) located directly behind the steering wheel. The instrument cluster screen unexpectedly goes black, shuts off, restarts, and cycles power without warning, including while the vehicle is being driven. Additionally, when the instrument cluster malfunctions and cycles power, amber-colored warning lights located on both exterior mirrors, including the mirror surfaces and housings, flash simultaneously. I believe these are associated with the vehicle's blind-spot monitoring system. Both sides illuminate in conjunction with the instrument cluster malfunction, suggesting that the issue may involve more than the instrument cluster display alone. The vehicle has been taken to authorized RAM dealerships approximately six times in an effort to correct this recurring defect. Most repair attempts were performed at Midway Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM in [XXX], with an additional visit to Anderson Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM in [XXX]. Despite these repeated repair attempts, the defect remains unresolved. Most recently, on XXX at approximately 10:04 PM, the instrument cluster again went black and cycled power while I was driving. This malfunction presents a serious safety concern because the instrument cluster provides essential driving information, including vehicle speed, warning indicators, and other vehicle operating information. When the display goes black, this information may become temporarily unavailable. The simultaneous flashing of the exterior mirror warning lights also raises concerns about possible interference with the vehicle's driver-assistance systems. The manufacturer has been formally notified of this recurring defect. I am requesting that NHTSA investigate these repeated electrical malfunctions as a potential vehicle safety defect. What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? PCM, Auto Start-Stop System (based on what I was told by the RAM dealership and paperwork) How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? When coming to a complete stop at an intersection, the vehicle stalled and shut down entirely, and the vehicle automatically shifted to park. Vehicle was able to be restarted only after pressing the brake, pressing the ignition button, and manually shifting into drive. This could have caused a collision if I was in stop-and-go traffic in a busier area, because I did not know how to respond to the vehicle randomly stalling to begin with. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? Yes. RAM dealership was able to replicate. Service advisor told me there was a Technical Service Bulletin released on 10/6/26 that addressed vehicle stalling due to the PCM and auto start-stop system. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? No. This has only been inspected by Academy Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Tipton, IN Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? There were no warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to failure. After the third time the vehicle stalled, the check engine light illuminated. This vehicle was then towed to the dealership for inspection.

VEHICLE SAFETY COMPLAINT AND REPAIR CHRONOLOGY Vehicle: 2025 Ram 1500 eTorque Repair Facility: Champion Dealership Manufacturer: Ram / Stellantis 1. Initial Vehicle Failures — July 12 and August 25–26, 2026 The vehicle experienced repeated failures on July 12 and again on the morning and evening of August 25 and the morning of August 26 towed to Champion. I provided photographs documenting the vehicle’s warning messages and descriptions of the problems that occurred. 2. September 4, 2026 — Problem Identified and Rental Approved On September 4, the dealership informed me that a specialist was coming to inspect the vehicle. Following this evaluation, I was told they had finally identified the problem and would proceed with the repair after the holiday. 3. September 23, 2026 — Additional Testing Requested On September 23, I contacted the dealership to determine whether the vehicle had been repaired. Allowed to pick up September 26th after additional testing completed. October 13, 2026 — Dangerous Failure While Driving On October 13, the truck experienced another serious failure while traveling approximately 75 mph on the highway. The engine shut down while the vehicle was in motion. Once it came back on, warning lights illuminated across the dashboard, and the vehicle entered limp mode. We managed to get the truck home, where it had to be towed. After arriving home, the truck would not shut off normally. It eventually shut down on its own. When we attempted to restart it, the previous warning messages and electronic faults returned, including messages indicating that the vehicle was already in Drive when it was not on at all. This is the initial issues that had occurred. This incident created a serious safety concern because the engine shut down while the vehicle was traveling at highway speed. The truck had been returned to us as repaired approximately 17 days earlier.

Vehicle will randomly die (engine completely shuts off) while in operation. The engine shuts off completely, putting the driver and those around them in extreme danger. The vehicle has to be put in park (on the highway) and restarted. There is a class action lawsuit because it is happening to so many people including us and Ram refused to accept responsibility. We have had our truck in the dealership a total of 5 times for the same problem and they have either told us the problem can not be replicated and they can’t do anything or they have fixed random parts but the issue is still occurring. There have been several incidents where a collision could have killed someone. It is not a question of if, it’s a question of when an accident will occur because of this.

On 10/4/26 my 2025 Ram 1500 with less than 15k miles experienced a major electrical/electronic failure. Multiple systems malfunctioned simultaneously while driving at freeway speeds, the vehicle decelerated rapidly, and then it would not shut off. Diagnostic codes included P0335, P0336, P034B, U0901, and U0422, including faults involving communication between vehicle and control models. This is the second significant electrical incident. Previously, electronic components activated abnormally while the vehicle was parking, including lights/wipers, and the battery became discharged even though the battery tested good. This failure left the vehicle completely immobilized approximately 60 miles from home. This malfunction had the potential to cause a collision at highway speeds, and risked the my life and the life of others on the road that day. I am deeply concerned this represents an electrical, software, wiring, or combination of those issues rather than an isolated battery incident.

Case ref via phone call [XXX] 2 separate issues with the truck- automatic window controls and the braking system. I have all the repair records from the dealership and can provide them or any further information that may be needed. Automatic window control- When using, the window would start to raise and then fall back down before raising all the way up. This was an ongoing issue with the passenger window and was in the shop 5 times for repairs. On the last repair the driver window was also having the same issue. Milage at 1st repair visit 5,449. Repair dates: -September 19-22, 2025 -November 13-14, 2025 -February 6-9, 2026 -March 6-27, 2026 -June 1-5, 2026 for both windows Braking system- While driving, the parking brake will engage and turn the ignition off. The truck will then have to be restarted to continue driving. This has occurred while parking, backing up, at stop lights, and while pulling out onto the street. This is a major safety concern as it is going to cause an accident if it is not fixed. At this time the truck is in for 3rd time for this without a diagnosis. Milage at 1st repair visit 10,560. Repair dates: -August 14-18, 2026 -August 25-Sept 1, 2026 -September 8-current The dealership we work with is Larry H Miller Dodge Ram. I have documentation of everything they attempted during our repair visits. We are the original owners of this truck. September 14 ~10AM I was starting from a stop light wen the truck suddenly started surging and the tach showed over 4K RPM, all Gage lights were erratic, it would not accelerate, i lost power steering, and pulled the truck over and did a hard reboot (restart). While that recharged the system I had just exited a treacherous 8 mile very narrow stretch of road between Brookings and Grants Pass Oregon, that has very sharp and blind turns frequented by logging and delivery semi trucks traveling at 30-65 mile per hour depending on the section. If this had happened an hour earlier I'd be dead because there is NO WHERE to pull off. This truck now scares the life (literally) out of me. Took it to get recalls done 9-29-26 and personnel refused to answer any questions or offer help. While there a man with 22 ram diesel came complaining about exact same problems. We talked for over one hour. Now convinced this problem is larger than advertised. Interestingly i got a text asking how i like my Ram @ 10 AM the morning and time of the error. I now wonder about a hacking of the "shut down" codes by other actors. While I purchased a 7 year warranty, that will do me no good when I'm dead from this inferior truck and a corporation that is hiding and clearly refusing necessary repairs. These issues clearly demand a class action lawsuit and cash settlement to buy-back a quality product. 52K for junk truck. Telling how I REALLY FEEL!

While going through an automatic car wash with the engine running, the transmission in Neutral, and my foot off the brake, my truck suddenly shifted into Park and shut off. When I tried to restart it, the display showed "Key Fob Not Detected," even though the fob was in my hand. It took several attempts before the truck restarted. Fortunately, the vehicle behind me did not hit me. This happened three more times before I made it out of the wash. I have since disabled the Engine Stop-Start feature and tried again, with the same result. The truck continues to shift into Park and shut off at random while in a car wash. This is a safety concern, and I would like it diagnosed and repaired.

The contact owns a 2025 Ram 1500. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V059000 (Exterior Lighting, Electrical System); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The dealer was contacted and confirmed that the part was not yet available. The dealer informed the contact that parts were issued by the manufacturer once every two weeks and that there was a waiting list for parts availability. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure.

Occured around midnight 24/25 Sep, 2026. Started vehicle, after using it previously in the day time with no issues, to a blank instrument cluster. All gauges would not move, light up, or function in any way. Further testing shows that the primary front turn lamps were not operating. Cryise control was inaccessible. Additionally shifting from R, N, and Drive is virtually impossible at times. I have to go to park between each shift and go directly to the position desired rapidly. Dealership has informed me that it is essentially the same as the issues other display sizes are having and are recalled. A communication error. Fuses are good, battery and alternator are good as well.

“Front Axle Disconnect (FAD) actuator repeatedly chatters/cycles when the vehicle is parked and ignition is off. The system wakes up multiple times, causing noise, battery drain, and potential unintended axle engagement. This appears to be an electrical control defect. Issue is reproducible in 2wd. After normal driving and powering down, (breaking, stopping, transmission to park, and turning truck off) the truck then lurches forward after a period of time from shutting it off. It lurches forward and then returns to its resting place. It does not do this every time and it is random with no identifiable reason that I can ascertain. The first time it happened I was at a gas station when the truck was turned off and my son got out to get a snack inside the gas station store. When walking toward the store the truck lurched forward nearly hitting my child. This problem was reported to McGovern Jeep Dodge Ram Newton, MA where they have had many opportunities to fix the problem. We have been in and out of the shop several times, with each visit lasting weeks to months. For the most recent repair (i was given the truck back on 9/17/26) the truck was in the shop nearly two months and the dealer involved a stellantis engineer and reported that they replaced the valve body/HIS repair in the transmission as well as both batteries, claiming it solved the problem. Upon return of vehicle I drove it home without turning off the car or stopping anywhere and the truck repeated the same lurching motion after powering down the vehicle. I have provided a video to Mcgovern showing the lurching and they have also stated in their notes the truck lurches 55 seconds after the truck goes to sleep. The truck was returned from McGovern with 20,223 miles and its about 25 miles from the shop to my house where the vehicle currently is. McGovern has made approximately 6 attempts to fix this issue while Planet Jeep Dodge Ram in Franklin MA has made 1 attempt to fix part of the issue. This has resulted in approximately 238 days out of service while at dealers. I have asked McGovern to tow the vehicle back to its shop to be worked on as I do not feel safe driving the vehicle. I have video of the truck lurching while off but I was not allowed to upload it on this form.
