The front drivers headrest spontaneously opened up. It was a quick and loud pop. I was not in the seat when it happened but I was getting ready to sit down. If i was sitting down it would have hit the back of my head very hard and could have hurt me. No warning lamps were on at the time and it has not been inspected but I have pictures

Driver side headrest popped out and plastic pieces are broken inside. I believe there is an investigation for this: Active Head Rest Inadvertent Deployment. It randomly happened the other day while vehicle was parked in garage. I’m not sure to get the headrest fixed for safety reasons or leave it broken.

While driving my 2016 Chrysler Town & Country around 45mph in active traffic, the vehicle suffered a sudden, catastrophic, and complete loss of motor power. The engine remained running, but the transmission completely lost all hydraulic pressure, leaving me unable to accelerate and leaving me completely stranded in a highly dangerous situation. I am a mother of four children who were inside the vehicle, and this sudden stalling created an imminent crash hazard and an extreme risk to my family's safety. The vehicle was towed to an authorized dealership, Lithia Chrysler in [XXX], for a formal diagnostic check under Chrysler Corporate Case #XXX. The dealership's certified master technician pulled an electronic computer scan and confirmed an active P08 fluid pressure fault code. The dealer physically verified that the primary transaxle oil pump failed, which caused extensive consequential damage, filling the transmission fluid with heavy metal shrapnel and a burnt smell. The dealer explicitly documented that the entire transmission assembly requires a complete replacement due to this internal destruction. This mechanical failure sequence, the component involved, and the life-threatening safety symptoms perfectly mirror NHTSA Campaign 16V-461 (Manufacturer Safety Recall S44) for the transaxle oil pump. Despite this identical failure, Chrysler Case Management denied repair assistance on the grounds that my VIN sits outside their arbitrary manufacturing window. It is clear that the original recall parameters were too narrow and failed to encompass all defective pumps. I am waiting for a federal safety investigation into expanding Recall S44 to protect outside-window consumers left stranded by this severe defect. Was just informed my transmission pump needs to be replaced after hearing an odd humming noise when acceleration occurred. I looked online and saw this was a recall for similar vehicles. Mine did not come up, but it mirrors the same issues that were part of the recall.

I have this vehicle and the drivers side sliding door has locked up completely. I will not unlock or open manually or electrically. I had it in for a diagnostic at a certified body shop in Devils Lake, ND 58301. They say it is the locking mechanism or actuator. I have recently been informed that Chrysler has extended the warranty for thi part to 15 years or 150K. But my vehicle does not show up as having a recall for this. The bulletin number I am referring to is 23-036-21. It covers 2015 and 2016 town and countrys mine is a 2016. How do I get this covered

The ignition switch AKA WIN MODULE has to be broken, making it extremely dangerous to drive my vehicle. Any time I go over a bump or the key wiggles slightly the car will turn right off and I lose full control over the car. I have to find a safe place to pull over and restart the car by taking the key out and putting the key back in. The part where the key goes in is very very loose. This puts myself and my kids at risk especially driving on the highway! Whenever this happens I would have to find a way to come to a complete stop in which the brakes start skipping because of the malfunction. After research , I have found that there was a recall with the other Chrysler town and counties from year 2008-2010. I’m not surprised that this is now happening with my vehicle . This is extremely dangerous.

The vehicle caught on fire with my [XXX] and me inside. Its currently located at a tow yard and Chrysler has not inspected the vehicle yet. I have a report from the fire department stating the fire was hotter on the left drive side which directly lines up with the current recall of the drivers side door switch. Transmission completely failed and had to be risky rebuilt. I was just driving down the highway and the transmission went into limp mode and I came to a fast slow down as it dropped the gearing. Also have noticed a huge issue with electronics putting me into a limp mode with wipers on headlights wont shut off, lose dash lights and speedometer with no blinkers or hazard lights. This left me in a very unsafe place as I had no way to tell other drivers where I was going or see how fast im going. Could have caused a huge accident 😕. Please look into this as there are many issues of this happening.

When I started my car I heard a “ding” and saw that my airbag light was on. I called the local dealership to ask about it and they said that in the case of a crash that light usually indicates that there is something wrong with the sensors to the airbags and if I was to get into an accident, they wouldn’t deploy; which could cause loss of life if there is failure to deploy. My vehicle also revs and has more get up and go (when I’m not intentionally accelerating) sometimes when I’m driving which is abnormal and can cause an accident.

The TIPMs system has been recalled in multiple vehicles and has causes a fuel pump relay failure and numerous other electrical issues . Chryslers recall has yet to include this year make and model despite the fact the identical part is used in the recalled vehicles. Chrysler is picking and choosing which vehicles this recall applies to and it’s putting families at risk of the TIPM failing and leaving them stranded at any time. Chrysler has a packaged replacement part under “recall pricing” but refuses to cover labor to install the new part on certain vehicles.

The interior over head map light shorted out unexpectedly and cause a small burn inside the bezel for the lights and now they do not work. The wiring inside seems to be burned out from electrical surge that caused the overload.
