I have been having issues shifting into park. My Trailblazer will sit there and tell me to shift into park multiple times before it will recognize park. I’ve had to hit the gear shift a couple times before it will recognize park.

The required back up camera got water inside the housing, worked for a little while, and then ultimately failed. There is a Recall for other trailblazers with this exact issue, however it seems my VIN was not included in said recall.

Service Air Bag System light has come on. Yes, the dealership has confirmed there is a problem with the air bag system and part need to be replaced. Collision Sensor System consists of sensors that distinguish between a moderate or severe crash impact. In the event of a crash, these sensors send information to the computer that controls the deployment of the air bags.

The contact owns a 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 25 - 30 MPH, the exhaust system, where the muffler was attached only had three bolts attached. The contact stated that the exhaust system had detached and the muffler was very loud. The tow truck driver loaded the muffler separately. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer. The dealer stated that the issue was normal wear and parts were ordered to repair the vehicle. The contact stated that the bolts on one side of the exhaust were stuck. The failure mileage was approximately 18,787.

While driving on the interstate on October 17, 2026, my 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer (1.2L turbo) suddenly lost engine power and would not accelerate, with the check engine light on. I had to coast to the shoulder and have the vehicle towed. The dealer diagnosed a failed turbocharger and a failed timing belt at 110,904 miles — far below GM's own 150,000-mile replacement interval for this belt. A timing belt that fails early can cause sudden, total loss of power at highway speed with no warning. This is a serious safety hazard. An Ohio state trooper had to assist with getting myself and my minor son off the interstate and to a safe location.

The dealer informed the contact that the headlight bulbs were replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, and a case was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 59,050.

I was stopped at a red light and when the light turned green to go, the car stalled. Steering wheel locked and I had to turn the car off and back on in the middle of traffic. This happened twice in one day to me. I brought it to the dealership and they cannot find a fix for this. The car also stalled on the service manager on the expressway.

When using the gear shifter to put car into park, it does not register that the car has been parked at all. It is available for inspection upon request. The car says it was in park but had to use the parking brake to ensure the car was parked. The manufacturer has been notified of the issue and even settled a class action lawsuit regarding the issue without issuing a recall.

When accelerating forward, the front wheel is almost locked up, and I was violently thrown forward into the seat belt and steering wheel. The transmission seemed like it jammed and the car was bucking. there is a known GM technical service bulletin on this, but no recall. The car was towed to the dealer and not drivable. I’m glad this did not happen on the highway or with other cars around or it would have caused an accident and injury.

Unkown~ I find my antenna to pose a safety risks due to the antenna base has allowed moisture , water, affecting navigation system/radio, everytime it rains, radio stops working n navigation system water ingress can damage critical electrical system ,including radio manfuctuer and dealership in that antenna design is poorly designed failure during car washes and rain, I would like the whole unit to be replaced and locatiion is replaced and relocated in a safe place.where rain does not go in lemon law/ I was not aware that antennas needs to be removed at every car wash therefore its fraudelence. I was not disclosure of vulnerabilities of antenna going through car washes and having exteme moisture .

purchased brand new December 2022. 7000 miles had issues with brake noise. dealership resurfaced rotors. 28000 miles turbo had to be replaced due to "reduced engine power". Was told a seal was the problem in the original design. 45000 miles a/c would stop blowing and produce extensive condensation on middle vents and "shift to park" became a problem. dealership cannot "reproduce" issues and therefore states nothing is wrong, although research shows problems exists and there is a back order on switch/shift assembly. Hopefully these problems "show" themselves to the technicians before extended warranty runs out, better yet a recall be issued.

- #11769264October 6, 2026BACK OVER PREVENTION, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
The contact owns a 2025 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V539000 (Back Over Prevention); however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated that while in reverse, the back over prevention camera displayed a black screen. The failure was causing the screen to flash and failed to display pertinent information. The failure caused the battery to become drained. The dealer was contacted and confirmed parts were unavailable for the recall repair, and any repair would be at the owners expense. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 36,800.

My 2021 Trailblazer does not shift into drive properly from park or reverse. When shifting into drive, the engine revs but does not move forward. In some cases, the vehicle also shakes and jolts for several seconds. It is also slow to shift into higher gears at high speeds on the freeway. In cases of quick acceleration, the check engine light comes on and the message "Engine Power Reduced" shows. This has caused potentially dangerous situations where I am not able to accelerate to match the flow of traffic, especially when merging onto the freeway. I have taken the car to both a Chevy dealership and an independent shop, who have both confirmed that there is a "loss of forward gear" and pulled codes P2714 and P0700. I have been told that I most likely need a transmission replacement at only 34,000 miles.
