The motorcycle unexpectedly shut off while accelerating into an intersection. It appears to be caused by a faulty ignition lock that turns the motorcycle off due to vibration while driving, recorded on video

This motorcycle has had a history of stalling while riding, this issue has persisted through two "repairs" that the dealership deemed safe. It stalled on the way back from retrieving the motorcycle from the supposed repair and put me in a life threatening scenario when the motorcycle stalled in traffic in front of a diesel in a construction zone without any available shoulders. The error that displays on the motorcycle is a yellow "Fault in engine" error that forces me hold in the clutch to turn off the motorcycle, go to first gear, turn the motorcycle back on start the engine then immediately give the motorcycle throttle. Doing so all while rolling to a stop in the middle of highway traffic. This has caused me to injure my leg due to the extremely fast nature of attempting to start a stalling motorcycle on a busy highway. This issue first appeared 2 years ago and it has persisted through all "repairs" from the dealership of the motorcycle brand specially.
These model “K67” BMW bikes have been having issues with ignition coil failures on multiple bikes. I have had two failures so far within a 3 month/1500mile span on my bike. Initial failure caused bike to shut off suddenly while riding (9-16-24 roughly 5200 miles) dealership replaced coil under warranty Cylinder 4 failure. Second time(12-31-24 roughly 6,626 miles) bike cut off all power on the freeway causing wait of 3 hours for BMW to have a tow sent out. Pulled codes and found the same coil failure codes as previous incident. Multiple groups & forums of people having the same failures on these bikes. I’ve already had to have a very common water pump failure on this bike at 1800 miles roughly which is also extremely common with this generation bike also.

In a sunny Sunday , S1000RR BlackStorm, 3207 miles. Riding I stop a in a awesome spot for pictures but when I turn off the key, the starter activates, I turned on the key and bike turned on automatically, I press the kill switch , the starter activates again. I press the starter and bike turn on. I continue to home 26 km from the place of situation. When I arraigo home I turned off the switch and bike turned off. Now bike won’t start. Full of gas, Battery full, fuse of 40 starter healthy, when I press the starter red button, I hear a click near the left side , near starter, but won’t start. No messages in the panel. The safety issue is that pressing the kill switch, moto remains starting activate, I was so scared, since in any gas spill pressing the kill switch to turn off it starter activate is a very dangerous situation. :(

The bike surges at about 6,000 rpm. Have had it to dealer 5 times total and they can’t find issue. I’ve offered to take bike to a dyno so I can reproduce issue. But Mark Pechko from Bmw North America won’t let dealers do that. Causes hand slipping on throttle. Attached is link to TikTok where I preform issue over and over in a safe manner and with in the law. https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTRToHTKV/
