MINI made a notable debut at the 2026 Rebelle Rally, securing a third-place finish in the X-Cross class. The team, driving a new MINI Countryman Untamed Edition, also earned two additional honors: Rookie of the Year and the “Challenge Accepted” Award. This marks the brand's first entry into the all-women's off-road navigation competition.

Driver Felicia Killman and navigator Erika Ferrer represented MINI in the demanding rally. Their performance resulted in a podium finish, placing third in the X-Cross class during MINI's inaugural participation. The 2026 event presented significant environmental challenges over its eight-day duration.

Teams encountered temperatures near 100 degrees Fahrenheit, powerful storms, heavy rain, and numerous river crossings. The course also featured steep climbs and challenging sand dunes. In the rally's concluding stages, wind gusts reaching 50 mph created whiteout conditions due to blowing sand, severely reducing visibility. Killman and Ferrer navigated these conditions, adapting to the course's demands and strengthening their partnership.

The vehicle used for MINI's debut was the new MINI Countryman Untamed Edition, which made its competitive appearance just days after its global reveal. U.S. market versions of the Untamed Edition are equipped with MINI ALL4 all-wheel drive, a suspension lift, and specially developed all-terrain tires. The vehicle also features exclusive 19-inch Untamed Edition wheels.
