Honda Racing Corporation USA (HRC US) is set to introduce its inaugural range of HRC Performance Parts for both on-road and off-road vehicles. This new product line will debut at the 2026 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, scheduled from November 3-6. Customers can expect to purchase these parts starting in March 2027, available through Honda and Acura dealerships nationwide, as well as the Honda DreamShop online.
Initial Offerings and Availability
The initial collection of HRC Performance Parts aims to enhance the capability and performance of several Honda and Acura production models. These include the Honda Civic Type R, Acura Integra Type S, and Honda Passport TrailSport. The parts were developed by HRC engineers, leveraging their extensive motorsports experience.
Rigorous performance and durability testing, including evaluations at Germany's Nürburgring circuit, was conducted to ensure high standards. Following their SEMA debut, these HRC Performance Parts will be exclusively available through authorized Honda and Acura automobile dealerships nationwide and the Honda DreamShop online platform, with sales commencing in March 2027.
Performance Wheels for On-Road and Off-Road
Among the first HRC Performance Parts are two distinct forged-aluminum wheel options. For on-road vehicles, a new lightweight 19x10 forged-aluminum wheel is available for the 2023 and newer Honda Civic Type R, and 2024 and newer Acura Integra Type S. Developed with 2elle-engineering, a supplier for the Acura ARX-06 race car, these wheels weigh 20.8 lbs each, a 5.5 lbs reduction from factory wheels. They are 0.5 inches wider than stock, with a 55mm offset, increasing the track width by 5mm. This design aims to reduce unsprung weight and improve handling. Finish options include a gray mirroring the ARX wheel and a bronze finish paying tribute to the Honda RA 272 F1 car.
For off-road applications, HRC offers a new 18x8 forged-aluminum wheel, designed for the 2026 and newer Honda Passport and 2023 and newer Honda Pilot. This wheel was developed with Titan 7, a partner in HRC's Pikes Peak International Hill Climb efforts. Constructed from aircraft-grade 6061 aluminum and forged under 10,000 tons of pressure, each wheel provides a 100kg increase in load capacity over the factory wheel. Available in Machine Black and Techna Bronze finishes, these wheels feature "Honda Racing" machined into the face.
Tuned Exhaust Systems and Future Developments
HRC is also introducing a new tuned cat-back stainless steel exhaust system, developed in partnership with Borla, a supplier for HRC race cars. This system is designed for the 2026 and newer Honda Passport and 2023 and newer Honda Pilot, specifically for their double-overhead cam 3.5-liter V6 engines. Constructed from corrosion-resistant 304 stainless steel, the exhaust system is engineered to increase flowrate by up to 6%. It incorporates Borla's "Polyphonic Harmonizer" technology to enhance the engine's sound while using "Anti-Drone" technology for comfortable highway cruising.
The design features high-flow hydroformed and mandrel-bends, and its compact layout increases ground clearance by up to 1.9 inches, beneficial for off-road driving. The system utilizes factory hangers for direct installation and is finished with unique HRC logo exhaust tips. HRC plans to expand its performance parts portfolio, with prototypes of future components like adjustable coilovers with camber plates, a big Brembo brake kit with 6-piston calipers, and a short throw shifter expected to be showcased at the SEMA automotive trade show.
The introduction of these HRC Performance Parts marks Honda Racing Corporation USA's expansion into the consumer market, offering factory-developed options to enhance select Honda and Acura vehicles. This initiative aligns with HRC's 2024 announcement regarding its entry into the retail performance parts business for North American consumers.
