Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Volkswagen) is recalling 2024-2026 Atlas Cross Sport and Atlas vehicles. The vehicles may experience a low-voltage electrical event that affects display screen functions. As a result, the rearview camera image may fail to display as intended.

I have a 2023 Volkswagon Atlas cross sport. The vehicle day running light went out on both sides. On doing a little research, I came across that this is a common problem with this vehicle and the cost is 1800 per side. Should there be a mass amount of customers reporting this same issue, this replacement should be replaced free of charge. Please advise if this should be an option

The car stalls at low speeds causing a safety concern for me and my kid. Reading in the VW Atlas Forum, this could be caused by a failed vapor (or carbon) canister. VW has not issued a recall on this as far as I know. This happens randomly. When this happens, the check engine light comes out.

The passenger airbag off-light stays illuminated on the center console even with a passenger. I just took a road trip to Florida, where I drove, and my brother drove. One of us was always in the passenger seat. We are each 250 lb. The passenger airbag off light remained illuminated throughout as well as in any short trips while we we down there. and the airbag warning lights on the dash the yellow light or orange light would illuminate and beep periodically throughout the entire trip.

The contact owns a 2020 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport. The contact stated that while driving, the accelerator pedal was depressed; however, the vehicle failed to respond as intended. The contact became aware of an abnormal sound coming from the vehicle, and the transmission shuddered abnormally. The contact stated that there was an abnormal odor inside the vehicle. The failure mileage was approximately 38,000.
