SummaryA new input shaft seal, PN 3610429, has been released for Model Year 2015-2026 Slingshot right angle drives for improved leak resistance. Vehicles produced after 11/10/2025 have the updated seal. When installing, this seal requires a lower pinion rolling torque specification. Improper pinion rolling torque during service of the seal can lead to leaks, noise, and/or damage to the seal or right angle drive due to improper bearing load.

Summary6 Model Year 2024 Slingshot vehicles equipped with G4 engines have been identified by the quality team to possibly have a defective crankshaft that will cause an early life/infant failure of the lower rod bearing(s). Crankshaft failures are expected to be seen on 2.2 percent of the population or at most 1 of the affected units. Quality Alert Cases have all been created for the 6 affected VINs.

SummaryPolaris has determined that some 2023 and 2024 Slingshot models may have a plugged timing chain oil jet which could result in a lack of oil to the timing chain guides and risk causing severe engine damage. To address this concern, Polaris has released this Service Bulletin with instructions to inspect the oil jet, and replace if needed. The affected population is less than 40 VINs.
