SummaryNISSAN; INTELLIGENT KEY IDENTIFICATION AND REGISTRATION TIPS This bulletin applies to vehicles equipped with Intelligent Key only. SERVICE INFORMATION When replacing or adding an Intelligent Key, it is very important to make sure the correct Intelligent Key is selected from the parts department. - A running change was made that will help identify the correct Intelligent Key. - Beginning in late 2017 and early 2018 the last five digits of the Intelligent Key part number is marked on the Intelligent Key under the mechanical key. - See page 2 for location images of this part number addition. NOTE: - A correct Intelligent Key may or may not have the last five digits of the part number as shown on page 2. - The above running change was applied as a ?help? to identify the correct Intelligent Key for a given vehicle, but the actual part number listed in the parts catalog did not change. - Make sure to use the electronic parts catalog (FAST) or equivalent to confirm the correct Intelligent Key for a given vehicle.

Summary2017 MURANO; MID-YEAR CHANGE TO CENTER CONSOLE SERVICE INFORMATION Starting with the applied VIN and date above, 2017 Murano vehicles come equipped with a center console configured differently than 2017 Murano vehicles built prior. Earlier built vehicles came equipped with a removable coin tray while currently built vehicles have the tray molded in as part of the center console assembly. For details, see photos on page 2. For this issue, do not order and replace under warranty a removable tray or complete center console assembly if the vehicle was built on or after the applied VIN and date stated above. This change is not applicable under the Nissan New Vehicle Warranty. These vehicles are built correctly with a molded-in tray and without a removable tray. The removable tray is available and will fit the newer console if the customer wishes to purchase it.

NOTE: - When the incident occurs, the ?Bluetooth? and ?Phone? buttons in the settings menu of the multi AV display are grayed out (not highlighted) and do not respond when pressed. - When pressing the ?Phone? button in the toolbar or on steering wheel, the message ?Please wait..? displays. - The incident may be intermittent. ACTION Update the Navigation system software using the SD card shown on page 2 and the SERVICE PROCEDURE beginning on page 3.

IF YOU CONFIRM The vehicle has a vibration that is accompanied by a booming noise. - Occurs at or above speeds of 60 mph. - Vibration/booming increases with speed. and Booming noise is heard while vibration is being reprodued on a lift by someone sitting inside the vehicle. and Date code on the rear propeller shaft is between July 27, 2016 and January 30, 2017. - See page 2 for Date Code Identification. ACTION Replace the rear propeller shaft. - Refer to the Electronic Service Manual (ESM), section DLN ? Driveline, for the procedure to replace the rear propeller shaft.
