SummaryMercedes-Benz AG (âMBAGâ), the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, has determined that on certain Model Year 2021 C-Class (205 platform), CLA (118 platform), G-Class (463 platform), GLC (253 platform), GLA (247 platform) and GLE/GLS (167 platform) vehicles, the installed ignition coils may not correspond to current specifications. As a result, a misfire could occur, followed by potentially reduced engine output, and illumination of the check engine Malfunction Indicator Lamp (âMILâ). This may also cause exhaust emissions to increase. MBUSA will conduct a voluntary Emissions Recall Campaign in which an authorized Mercedes- Benz dealer will replace the ignition coils.

SummaryIn the instrument cluster, the symbol for "12 V battery" and the message "Switch on vehicle" may sporadically be displayed. As a consequence of this, the fault codes B 1 FCB97 (=> N73/3) and U 116000 (=> N73/3*1) are stored in the fault memory. In the subsequent analysis of the 12 Von-board electrical system data, the following parameters are conspicuous (see picture 1 in the attachment): ⢠Charge balance negative when stationary. ⢠Interior CAN bus is awake for an unusually long time. ⢠12 V battery SOC (state of charge) during subsequent engine start is 45% or less. NOTE: Once the 12 V battery SOC has exceeded 50% for the first time, the symbol and the message in the instrument cluster disappear again. The door control unit (N69/x) may sporadically keep the interior CAN bus awake. NOTE: Exclusively door control units with the HW item numbers A2239019917 and A2239010018 can be affected. Open a TIPS case and include the following: 1. Initial Quick Test 2. N73/3 EZS CUL 3. N73/3*1 EZS CUL 4. Date and time of occurrence

SummaryMercedes-Benz AG (âMBAGâ), the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, has determined that on certain MY 2021-2024 C-Class, EQE, EQE SUV, EQS, EQS SUV, GLC, GLE and S-Class (206, 295, 294, 297, 296, 254, 167 and 223 platform) vehicles, the head unit software does not correspond with the latest series production configuration. The update is free of charge and will be carried out in the background. The installation will eliminate software errors for a better entertainment experience. MBUSA will conduct an OTA service campaign. A workshop visit for the customer is not required since remote software updates are automatically downloaded and installed in the customerâs vehicle. The OTA may be validated as successful on the customerâs Mercedes Me connect app under âOver-the-Air Vehicle Updatesâ as either âSoftware Update MBUX 2.4â or âSoftware Update Hermes 1.5 E522.8â. If the OTA is successful it will show a green âinstalledâ and date of installation in the Over-the-Air update section.
