Random clicking noise coming from the doors and a relay clicking noise coming from under the glove box followed by a Child Safety Lock Failure error message on the instrument cluster. This results in the doors being able to be opened while the vehicle is in drive

SERVICE BRAKES
In two instances overbthe last week, my wife has experienced her antilock brake system (ABS) initiating on dry, flat, asphalt pavement. The ABS deployment was obviously unexpected and caused the vehicle to shake abruptly and kept the vehicle from coming to a stop as quickly ad it should have. There seems to be an issue with the ABS system and is causing dangerous situations on the roadway.

SERVICE BRAKES
Seems the ABS system kicks in when it really should not. Just driving slowly and hitting a pothole and or going over a speed bump or something similar while braking will cause the ABS system to kick on and make the vehicle go further before actually stopping. This happened multiple times and two times I almost hit someone due to the ABS coming on and not stopping my vehicle in time. The vehicle will shake a bit and make a loud noise when this happened. The vehicle has been inspected and was told it is working as intended. Which I find hard to believe. Our Subaru does not do this. No warning lights are on. It is just a very unsafe thing to happen.

SERVICE BRAKES, UNKNOWN OR OTHER
Over sensitive ABS when going over bums or bumpy roads the breaks get really hard , makes a loud cranking noise and break peddle starts shaking really bad unable to bring the car to a complete stop I’ve taken it in and they said they couldn't mimic that reaction. It feels very unsafe specially when you have little kids in they car.

I was driving on [XXX] in Florida when it started raining heavily, I turned on my wipers when all of a sudden my drivers side wiper stopped working. My passenger side worked fine. My driver side wiper was recalled and "fixed" Nov 9,2023. Not even a year later it is not working again. This is something that is completely dangerous, not being able to us my wipers while driving when needed is horrible. I bought this car 7/23/2024 and on 7/28/24 I noticed my coolant was almost empty after looking under the hood. I filled it myself and I took it back to the dealer to have it checked. They said everything was fine. Told myself I would just keep an eye on it. 8/11/2024 checked again and it went from full line to low line. Took it back to dealership and they check it out again but explained coolant does fluctuate. Decided to keep an eye on it again because they say everything is fine. Today 8/26/24 checked my coolant again and it was completely empty! Not one drop of pink fluid was in the coolant container. Taking it back to the dealership AGAIN! We will see what happens this time.

The contact owns a 2020 Hyundai Palisade. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the sunroof glass fell off the track. The message that the sunroof was open was displayed. The local dealer was contacted, but the vehicle had not been diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 95,390.

My driver seat belt has randomly popped off while driving it has happened 4 times since I bought this used 2020 palisade at the end of February it’s very scary and i don’t feel safe in this car. I don’t think it has happened with my kids seatbelts but I don’t trust them , I do not have the exact dates

Both of our side seat of the middle row seatbelts will not buckle randomly or will just release. We’ve brought it in several times and they say they can’t find anything but it does this with my kids just sitting and riding. This has now been happening for years.

SUSPENSION, STEERING, WHEELS
In Sept. of 2023 I had my routine maintenance on my vehicle, oil change.at Tempe Auto Nation Hyundai. My drivers side 3rd row headrest was not staying up and needed to be replaced. I also mentioned to my extremely rude service agent Jake that my vehicle also had oil dripping coming from under the rear. I allowed him to do the oil change but not the headrest. I transferred location to have my vehicle serviced to Camelback Hyundai. My headrest was replaced by Camelback Hyundai. I also mention the oil leak to my service rep. Steve. I was also told that the vehicle was given an inspection. That I would need tires soon. My vehicle didn’t have 25000 miles on it. I purchased the vehicle new. It was also pulling to the right. The pulling was so bad I purchase 4 new tires. Costing over $700. The next day I took the vehicle to get an alignment, only to find out that my shocks/ struts are completely bad and needed to be replaced. I researched the issue with my Hyundai Palisade to see if there had been any recalls. It appears Hyundai is aware of the issue with the defective shocks. I am very disappointed and angry in the amount of time and money this has cost me because of an issue that The Hyundai Corporation knew was occurring. They knew there was an issue with the headrest and also the shocks. Due to the defective shocks, I had to pay for new tires and alignment for a fairly new vehicle that had not reached 25000 miles and still under warranty. I would not have needed new tires so soon an alignment if Hyundai would have corrected the defective shocks.

SERVICE BRAKES
*Conditions: sunny, dry, about 70 degrees While driving at a lower speed (< 20 MPH), I started applying my brakes just before going over a railroad track. After starting to initially slow down, I crossed the railroad tracks and my brakes started pulsing very loudly but were no longer slowing down the car. Despite breaking about 5 to 6 seconds before the car in front of me, I just keep on rolling right up to the point where I was going to hit them and then the auto-safety stop slammed my car to a halt. I may have actually hit them, it was hard to tell. The driver even pulled over, got out and looked at their car, but gave me a thumbs up as if I didn't hit them. I'm extremely concerned that my brakes didn't work in perfect conditions when starting to break with PLENTY of time. I just went online to see if this has happened to others because it was so crazy, and it looks like there are numerous stories just like mine (i.e., when breaking on a bumpy surface). How in the world has this not been recalled?!!! My car has less than 20k miles on it and it has been regularly serviced via Hyundai dealerships. I have dashcam video to verify/corroborate my story. You can see that I was going slow to begin with, started breaking well before I needed to, you can hear my breaks grinding loudly, and the car is just not stopping until the last second before I'm about to crash where it slams to a halt from the automated stopping system.

SERVICE BRAKES
When driving the car began to shake severely and lost all braking ability. The only reason we stopped was the Anton front end collision slammed us to a stop. My mom and children were in the car at the time, if there was no car infront of us we would not have stopped and would have ended up in an intersection and could have been tboned or if we going faster anti front end collision would not have been able to stop us and would could have been injured or worse ! The car has been brought in twice to two seperate Hyundai dealerships for diagnosis, they were unable to diagnosis anything.

The driver seatbelt has come unlatched while driving on 3 occasions over the past month, which is how long I have owned the vehicle. I will be driving normally and the seatbelt just pops open. No pressure is being applied to the belt or the buckle at the time it pops open.

SERVICE BRAKES, FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
While driving at slow speed I took my foot off the gas and applied pressure to the brake pedal. The brakes did not work properly; the brakes engaged and disengaged multiple times and the car continued to lurch forward almost resulting in a collision. This is a critical failure of the braking system and is extremely unsafe. In this scenario, I could have hit the car in front of me. Had I been approaching an intersection, I could have been in a severe collision. I brought the car to the dealership and they could not replicate the issue. They inspected the vehicle and did not provide any information on what could have caused the issue. No component was identified as the cause of the problem. No warning lamps were on prior to or after the incident. During the incident, I was not looking at my dashboard; I was trying to not hit the vehicle in front of me. The car has under 20,000 miles and has been driven for just over a year.

SEAT BELTS
The seat belt buckle in the 2nd row and 3rd row seats are too low and put a high back booster and occupants at risk. My son is at the correct height and weight to transition into a high back booster and he and I are struggling to get the metal latch into the buckle. It’s extremely hard to determine if the seat belt latches correctly into the buckle because no click noise is heard. The buckle should raise out of the base of the seat at least another inch or two to allow children and adults to buckle safely.

BACK OVER PREVENTION: REARVIEW SYSTEM BRAKING, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS, BACK OVER PREVENTION: WARNINGS
When driving at slow rate of speed, the "Check Forward Safety System" and "Check Side Safety System' lights will come on spontaneously and will turn off after a few moments and/or if I shut the vehicle off and turn it back on. This happened another time when I was parked in the vehicle where the lights came on spontaneously.
