I have had a problem with the worm wheel steering box since I first purchased this vehicle. Being new to HONDA, I thought driving the vehicle was supposed to be rough and shaky. However, after some time, I knew it was not normal. I first reached out to HONDA in September and have consistently gotten the run around. I then made another appointment back in October to report it, then was told there was a recall. I asked if I could make an appointment and they said they have no parts, not sure when they will get parts because its on back-order. I went in again in November and my appointment to have the recall looked at was cancelled, therefore they did just an oil change that day. I followed up during that appointment, and was told, again they are unsure when or if they will get parts for the recall. I drive long distances and living in Alaska at very cold temperatures this seems to affect the driving even more. It's at the point of being unsafe to drive. This is a new 2025 Honda HRV, and I am highly disappointed with the service or lack of priority when a Honda Customer with a new vehicle is having safety concerns.

One of the many times my car would not start. I was trying to leave work and my Honda HR-V would not start. [XXX] at [XXX] - I got in my car to drive to work, and it gave a stuttering sound. I contacted Honda on November 18th 2024 about the recall and was told my name would be put on a list and I’d be contacted when the part became available. My mother went into the Dover, Delaware Honda location today, [XXX], to inquire about an ETA on the recalled part and she was told that the recalled part “Was not being released”. She was also told, by the Assistant Service Manager that he waited 8 months for this recalled part to be fixed on his vehicle. He could not give me an estimated time on when they’d receive the part, but my car is definitely affected by the recalled part (stalling and my car not being able to start are some of the issues affected by this faulty part) and I don’t want to risk my life in an accident, simply trying to get to work, while waiting for a part that Honda may not have available for 6-8 months. I have had an issue with my 2019 Honda HRV Sport. Black display on the odometer/fuel/oil gauge at start up, then went to gibberish then to display as normal once the car warmed up. Sometimes it would flash or not come back at all. I live in the Northeast and it started when temperatures started getting cooler. This is the first year. Dealer (Keeler Honda) says they have heard of this and wanted to charge me $1800 to replace it. They said they’ve heard of it happening in the HRV and the Fit. It’s dangerous when you can’t see how much gas you have. Also wondering if accurate mileage is being calculated.

Recently, I received a recall notice from Honda Corp. (Recall #MJU; NHTSA Recall # 24V-744). This morning, I took the vehicle to a dealership to have the defective part(s) replaced. I was told there weren't any parts available and unsold cars in the dealership's inventory would be repaired first, or they couldn't legally be sold due to the recall. Edgar, the service rep, told me to check back in January.
