SummaryAccording to FORD Recall 26C10/26V104: "It is possible that the trailer module (TRM) may lose communication at vehicle start-up. If a TRM loss of communication occurs and a trailer is connected to the vehicle, trailer stop lamps and turn signal indicators will not function. Additionally, for trailers equipped with electronic trailer brakes, the trailer brakes will not function. This loss of communication can occur with-or-without a trailer connected to the vehicle and can only initiate at vehicle start-up. If this occurs, a “Trailer Brake Module Fault” notification will pop-up on the vehicle’s instrument panel cluster."

SummaryAccording to General Motors/Chevrolet recall N242842680: "The brake pressure sensor assembly may allow brake fluid to leak beyond the diaphragm seal into the brake pressure switch. As a safety precaution, General Motors recommends that you park your vehicle outside until the remedy can be performed. The brake fluid may seep into the sensor assembly electrical components and short the brake pressure switch and associated fuse. If brake fluid shorts the brake pressure switch and the associated fuse, the circuit can generate excessive heat that could result in a fire, increasing the risk of injury. An under hood fire may occur when the vehicle is off and possibly unattended."

SummaryAccording to Ford recall 25V442 / 25S72: "On your vehicle, it may be possible an error in the SYNC software can cause SYNC system instability concerns and/or a failure to preserve certain settings across ignition cycles. This may result in an intermittent blank image while in reverse or rear-view image remaining on display after reverse driving has ended. Other non-safety related symptoms may be present such as a black infotainment screen, incorrect language setting, and/or potential inability to perform software updates. A rear-view camera that intermittently displays a blank image while in reverse can reduce the driver’s view of what is behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash. A rear-view camera that remains on after the backing event has ended can distract the driver, increasing the risk of a crash."

SummaryAccording to Ford recall 25S75 / 25V455: "On your vehicle, it is possible to have a loss of fuel pressure and flow from the fuel tank due to fuel pump failure. This can cause a lack of fuel delivery to the engine and result in an engine stall while driving. Prior to fuel pump failure, you may experience poor engine performance (misfiring or running rough), a check engine light, or a reduction in engine power. Fuel pump failure is more likely to occur under low fuel or warm weather and hot fuel conditions in the fuel tank. An engine stall while driving increases the risk of a crash."

SummaryAccording to FCA recall 25V330: "The Security Gateway Module (SGW) on your vehicle may prevent some communication between vehicle modules, which may result in the rearview image not displaying in a backing event. The vehicle operator may notice that the rearview image is not displayed if attempting to reference the image while backing. A rearview camera image that does not display reduces the driver's visibility of what is behind the vehicle and if not heeded, increases the risk of a crash."

SummaryAccording to FCA, the driver seat belt buckle may have been built with an incorrect switch sense magnet. Suspect vehicles may incorrectly activate the warning system indicating that the seat belt is unlatched when it is latched. Failure to detect whether an occupant is buckled can impede the seatbelt warning system from deactivating when the belt is properly fastened, potentially leading to reduced seat belt use which can increase the risk of injury in certain crashes.

SummaryThe routing of the main wiring harness might contact the drive shaft and chafe, which could result in a short circuit, loss of drive power, power steering, and brake control system. A short circuit increases the risk of a fire, and a loss of drive power, power steering, and brake system control increases the risk of a crash. This is in reference to Mercedes-Benz Recall Campaign 24V166.

SummaryPer FCA Recall 23V799: "The Steering Column Control Module (SCCM) on your vehicle Ill may have a tum signal self-canceling anti-jam component out of specification, an internal short circuit on the SCCM printed circuit board (PCB), and/or a tum signal lever debouncing time limit which is too short. The SCCM in the suspect vehicles may cause the high beams to activate when using the tum signal, the turn signal to activate when using the high beams, and/or an inadvertent tum signal activation. A tum signal which remains active after a completed tum may cause surrounding drivers to misunderstand the intent to change vehicle direction. High beam activation when the tum signal switch is activated may result in reduced visibility of oncoming drivers. An inadvertent tum signal activation may cause surrounding drivers to misunderstand the intent to change vehicle direction. Any of these conditions may cause a vehicle crash without prior warning.

SummaryAccording to Ford Recall 23V625: "In your vehicleÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂs transmission, a casting defect in the transmission upper valve body casting may cause the main control poppet valve to get stuck in the open position. A stuck poppet valve restricts the flow of lubricant to the rear extension housing bushing, resulting in excessive heat generation in the bushing and erosion of the rear seal. This condition leads to transmission fluid leakage, noise, and vibration. The increased vibration may result in a loss of torque retention on the abutment plate bolts. Once the abutment plate bolt torque is compromised, the park actuator may be unable to engage the park pawl into the park gear, which may result in unintended vehicle movement if the parking brake is not applied, increasing the risk of a crash."
