SummarySome 2020 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.7L diesel engine and built on or before 18-Aug-2020 may exhibit an illuminated powertrain malfunction indicator (wrench) lamp with only diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P07F6 stored in the transmission control module (TCM). This DTC may be accompanied by harsh engagements, a poor shift quality feel and/or loss of 9th gear as a result of the DTC being set. If no additional codes or symptoms are present, clear the DTC with the appropriate Ford diagnostic scan tool and schedule a follow-up appointment for service mid-September. Inform the customer that engineering is working to implement a solution and advise the customer that they can continue to drive the vehicle. Once available, contact the customer and confirm a service appointment. Monitor OASIS for updates.

SummarySome 2020 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with the Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) and Cross Traffic Alert (CTA) may require the removal of the factory equipped tail lamps to accommodate the use of aftermarket equipment. Once the tail lamps are removed, this may result in BLIS and CTA warning indicators illuminated in the instrument panel cluster (IPC). To clear these warning indicators, the BLIS and CTA systems will need to be disabled using the FDRS scan tool. Start a vehicle session in FDRS using the vehicles VIN and go to the toolbox tab. Locate the application labeled Disable/Enable Blind Spot Information System. Download and run this application to enable or disable the BLIS And CTA systems.
