Flash: Powertrain Diagnostic and System Improvements This bulletin involves reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with the latest available software. A small number of customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find one or more of the following DTCs set in the PCM memory: U1504 - Implausible Message Data Length Received From Steering Angle Sensor. P0128 - Thermostat Rationality. P0335 - Crankshaft Position Sensor Circuit. P0340 - Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 1. U1424-00 - Implausible Engine Torque Signal Received. Water In Either Left Or Right Front Floor Footwells This bulletin involves correcting a sealant void between the cowl plenum lower panel and dash crossmember. The customer may describe damp or wet carpet in either the left/right side or both front footwells. This condition may be due to a sealant void between the cowl plenum lower panel and dash crossmember or the seam behind the wheel well liner allowing water to enter the vehicle interior.All three areas must be checked and repaired.
