Vehicle has stalled when moving slowly and making a turn or slight turn. In all cases, the engine shuts off, all displays (instrument cluster and infotainment display) go black, and power accessories such as windows, radio, ac are all off. No warnings or service lights have appeared in the instrument cluster. July 4, 2026, morning – Vehicle stalled entering an alley, moving slowly and turning. This occurrence did not involve stopping previously to the stall as the next two did. In this instance the engine started again on its own and power came back on, though ac settings were changed. July 4, 2026, afternoon – Vehicle stalled after stopping for cross traffic in a roundabout and then moving to enter the roundabout. It was necessary to completely stop the vehicle in traffic order to restart it (depressing brake pedal and pushing the start button). August 8, 2026, morning - Vehicle stalled after stopping at a stop light and then moving to enter the intersection and turning. It was necessary to completely stop the vehicle in traffic order to restart it (depressing brake pedal and pushing the start button). We have taken the vehicle to two different GM Service Centers to diagnose and resolve the issue. In both cases the service centers were unable to determine the cause, being unable to duplicate the situation. I enclose the service reports for both - Hallady Motors, Cheyenne, Wy 7/10/20236, and Tyrrell Chevrolet, Cheynne, WY 8/17/2026.

- #11757017August 14, 2026ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, UNKNOWN OR OTHER, VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL
It was in the shop 9/19/24 for the screen going blank while driving causing a safety concern as was unable to tell how fast was going, screen slowly came back on and they found had internal fault and replaced telematics control module. All was fine until July 2026. Picked up from Glen Polk GM in Gainesville Texas 7/15/26 they state reprogramed radio, and USB file. The screen went out 7/19, 7/21, 7/29. 7/31 we dropped car back to dealership 7/31 and they kept it until 8/4/26. This time they state the repair performed reconfiguration update as they claim the previous update was corrupted. Today 8/14/2026 the screen blanked out again at 7:10am. I now have a new appointment for 8/19/26 at 10am. I have also opened a corporate complaint with GM.

- #11754222August 1, 2026TIRES
I was driving on a Chicago expressway with my family when the tire pressure light came on, within 3 mins and before we could safely pull over the tire shredded and eventually the entire middle part of the tire came off and we were thankful there was a lot of traffic so we had to slow our speed because the inner part of the tire came off and it rolled to the side of the expressway. This could have been catastrophic if another car on the expressway tried to avoid or hit the rubber part of the tire while they were driving. We had to backup an on ramp because there was no safer alternative. We were able to put on the spare and find a tire shop that was affordable to replace the tire.

- #11750541July 15, 2026SERVICE BRAKES
To the Vehicle Safety Complaint Division: I am filing a safety complaint regarding brake service performed on a 2025 Buick Envista (VIN: [XXX]) by Suburban Buick GMC of Troy, 1850 W Maple Rd, Troy, MI 48084, an authorized GM dealership. Safety Issue: The vehicle was brought in on XXX with brake pulsation at 20,689 miles. Suburban performed rotor resurfacing on all four rotors and certified the repair as complete and verified on XXX. On XXX — 13 days after Suburban certified the repair — Moran Buick GMC of Sterling Heights found the rear rotors causing the identical brake pulsation symptom. [XXX]'s service advisor determined the rear rotor was rubbing against another component and stated in his professional opinion that Suburban's prior service caused the condition. The corrective repair was processed as a GM warranty claim. Safety Concern: A certified brake repair on a 21,342-mile vehicle failed within days of service. The failure involved the braking system — a safety-critical component. The original service manager dismissed the customer's safety concern by stating failure would depend on "how you drive." Dealer: Suburban Buick GMC of Troy, Registration Number XXX, operated by Lithia Motors, Inc. (NYSE: LAD) Supporting Documentation: Two authorized GM dealer repair orders documenting the failed repair and corrective service are available upon request. I respectfully request confirmation of receipt of this complaint and assignment of a case or reference number. I am available to provide any additional documentation or information required to support this complaint. The complete documentary record, including both repair orders, the independent inspection findings, and the complete correspondence record with Lithia Motors corporate, is attached. Sincerely, [XXX] Authorized Representative for [XXX] [XXX] [XXX] Attachments: — [XXX] v. - #11745129June 18, 2026SERVICE BRAKES, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
While driving my brand new 2026 Buick Envista Avenir with only 347 miles on the odometer, the vehicle became difficult to control and multiple warning messages and service lights illuminated simultaneously: “Brake System Failure — Your driving speed is being restricted as braking may be difficult,” “Service Brake Assist — Your vehicle may not brake automatically or assist in braking when it detects a likely collision,” and “Steering Assist is Reduced — Drive with Care.” I pulled over immediately and contacted OnStar who advised the vehicle was unsafe to drive and arranged for a tow. The vehicle was towed to the selling dealer the same day, January 13, 2026, and remained in the dealer’s possession for 31 days for diagnosis and repair, until February 13, 2026. The dealer replaced multiple primary braking components: electronic brake control module (EBCM), brake master cylinder, power brake booster, and reservoir kit. These repairs involved both the vehicle’s electronic control systems and major hydraulic/mechanical brake components. The simultaneous multiple critical warnings, the loss of full brake response/control, the restriction of driving speed, and the reduction of steering assist show that core systems responsible for stopping and vehicle control were compromised. Replacing the EBCM along with major hydraulic components indicates a complex, systemic malfunction. This failure created immediate danger on the road, forced an extended out of service period for a new vehicle, and caused a month long significant disruption and expense. A primary safety system failing at such low mileage raises serious concerns about reliability and the risk of loss of braking performance, which could lead to a crash and endanger vehicle occupants and other road users. Consumers should be aware that a brand-new vehicle with only 347 miles stopped operating safely without cause, under normal driving conditions, and required replacement of major hydraulic/mechanical brake components.

- #11743595June 11, 2026FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL, UNKNOWN OR OTHER, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
The data screen for navigation has gone blank several times. A few times previously but 3 times in the past 2 days. The speedometer is viable but not the radio or navigation. Adaptive cruise control has occasionally alerted that it is not available & shuts off on its own. An alert yesterday stated power steering needs to be serviced but nothing is wrong. The car has turned off as I started to pull out into traffic & turned back on its self 3 times today. One time in the morning on my way to the gym at a stop light when it turned green when I went to proceed the car turned off and turn back on its self, leaving the gym pulling out of the parking lot pulling out into traffic it turned off & back on by itself & this evening after stoping at a store I stopped at the exit & when I went to pull out in traffic the car turned off & back on again by itself. Also the delay wipers do not come on themselves.

Since purchasing this unit on 06/14/2025, I have taken this car in for many issues, including the digital dashboard going out multiple times and the AC unit stopping working. I have attached the service history ticket for your records. This unit is deemed to fall apart here shortly. Not even a year old, and the AC has already gone out 3-4 times. Most important is the dashboard that shows speed and other important information I will use to drive.

- #11729429April 6, 2026FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING, UNKNOWN OR OTHER
My son's car was hit by this Buick while he was making a right turn. The driver of the Buick was not paying attention and thought he had already turned. She accelerated into him and AEB did not prevent it. We are not sure why this Buick's ADAS failed. It is not our car, but that of the person who hit us. I don't know the answers to the above question as we were not the driver and it is not our car. Our concern is how could the car allow such an impact to occur especially at low speed. Video from our car showing the accident is here: [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

- #11723545March 11, 2026STEERING, SUSPENSION
The contact's friend owns a 2026 Buick Envista. The contact stated that while driving 5 MPH into a parking lot, the vehicle stopped unexpectedly. The contact stated that the vehicle jolted as if the vehicle was in a crash. The steering wheel was unresponsive while attempting to turn to the left or the right, and the front wheels failed to respond as intended. After stopping the vehicle, the ABS and stabili-trak warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was towed to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed, and determined that the damage to the steering and front suspension was caused by the vehicle driving over a curb. The contact stated that the driver had not driven over a curb. The vehicle was not repaired. The vehicle was towed to a collision center, and it was determined that there was a failure with the front suspension and steering. The collision center also concluded that the damage had been the result of the vehicle driving over a curb. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and opened a case. The failure mileage was approximately 2,500.

I am writing to report a serious and ongoing safety issue with my vehicle. While I was actively driving in traffic, my car suddenly shut off completely without warning. This occurred while the vehicle was in motion, creating an immediate and dangerous situation. During this incident, the steering wheel locked up multiple times while I was driving, making it extremely difficult to control the vehicle and safely maneuver through traffic. This put not only my safety at risk, but also the safety of other drivers on the road. In addition to this, there are multiple mechanical and safety-related issues with the vehicle: •The driver’s seat is stuck and cannot be adjusted. •The front doors will not lock. •The back doors will not unlock. These issues significantly increase the risk of injury or harm in the event of an emergency, accident, or even while the vehicle is parked. Given that the vehicle shut off in traffic and experienced steering lock while driving, I do not feel the car is safe to operate. I am requesting that this matter be reviewed urgently, as this vehicle presents a serious safety hazard to myself and others. Please advise on the next steps for inspection, coverage, or resolution as soon as possible. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter
