SummarySupersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 70 number 15-47 dated September 21, 2015. Various squeaks and/or rattles are heard from the roof area on vehicles equipped with a panoramic sunroof. SummarySupersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 46 number 15-02 dated February 9, 2015. The customer may report hearing brake noise from front or rear brakes. The customer may describe these noises as a squeal, squeak, grinding, groaning, thumping, or creaking. DO NOT use this TSB if there is another brake noise TSB applicable to the VIN. For additional information, refer to the Audi Brake systems brochure. Brake noise can be attributed to many causes. Brake discs or brake pads are close to or below their wear limit. New brake pads and/or discs have not been properly imbedded after installation. Aftermarket pads or discs are installed. There is debris (such as small stones, grit, road salt, or sand) between brake disc and brake pad. Discs are covered with rust. Rust can form when the vehicle has not been driven for a long period of time. Discs are grooved. There is chemical contamination on the braking surface of the brake disc due to wheel or tire cleaner being sprayed directly onto the brake disc. There are ?pad marks? on the brake disc as a result of brake pad material transferring to the discs. Pad marks can occur when a vehicle has been parked for long periods of time in a wet or snowy environment.

SummaryThis document contains the Audi maintenance schedule. First standard maintenance service at 5,000 miles or 1 year after delivery, whichever occurs first. Standard maintenance services thereafter occur at intervals of 10,000 miles or 1 year after the last standard maintenance service, whichever occurs first. First major maintenance service at 15,000 miles or 2 years after delivery, whichever occurs first. Major maintenance services thereafter occur at intervals of 20,000 miles or 2 years after the last major maintenance service, whichever occurs first. The intervals shown in this table are based on vehicles operating under normal conditions. In case of severe conditions, such as extremely low temperatures, excessive dust, etc., it is necessary for certain operations to be carried out in between the given intervals. This applies particularly to engine oil changes and the cleaning or replacing of the air cleaner filter element.

SummarySupersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 91 number 10-59 dated September 15, 2010. In Mix (shuffle) mode, very long response times and subsequent malfunctions occur when the next track is being selected. Long response times also occur when the ?Return? hard key is pressed. In Mix (shuffle) mode, the previous track is not played when the ?Previous? button is selected in the CD control menu. A different track plays instead. In Mix (shuffle) mode, when the first track of the playlist was selected via the ?Previous? button in the CD control menu (rather than with the rotary push button), the track list shown in the MMI does not match the track list shown in the driver information panel (synchronization issue). In Mix (shuffle) mode, the current track is not highlighted in white letters in the MMI display. If the current track is selected again via the rotary push button, the audio briefly drops out. The current track is not color-highlighted in the MMI display. Audiobook tracks continuously fast-forward if ?Fast Forward? was selected in the first few seconds after the track started playing. The message ?Device is being initialized. Please wait?? is displayed when a second generation iPod Nano is installed. iPod locks up but is operable again after the iPod is reset. iPod performs a reset and restarts on its own. iPod is not detected when it is plugged into the AMI. The message ?Device or cable type not supported? appears in the MMI display. An automatic iPod upgrade through iTunes contained inoperative driver software. The customer may not realize that the iPod was updated and may complain that the AMI software is causing the issues. Because downgrading the updated iPod software is usually not possible, the AMI driver software (firmware) must be updated. The firmware update of AMI is not a ZUG update. Unlike ZUG updates, which are performed with an update CD in the CD changer, this firmware update is performed with a USB device connected dir

SummarySupersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 01 number 13-25 dated August 23, 2013. The MIL is on. DTCs are stored in the ECM. The DTCs may appear during monitoring of the secondary air system during the engine cold starting phase. With the electric solenoid valves controlled, a diagnosis cycle is performed and the secondary air pressure is measured for a specified value. The secondary air pressure can be influenced by several factors; which may include a leak in the vacuum system or a faulty exhaust catalyst.

SummaryVehicle will not communicate with diagnostic scan tool or emissions test equipment. Customers may have issues with vehicle passing state IM emissions test programs because the scan tool cannot communicate with the vehicle. ABS and/or brake lamp(s) will be illuminated in IP cluster. Broken ground bond wire within the ABS module (ABS 5.3 system) causes diagnostic communication issues with the ABS module, ECM, and TCM. Brake system and ABS system functionality are not affected by the broken ground circuit. This bulletin only addresses the communication issue (broken ground circuit) between the vehicle and the diagnostic scan tool described above. This bulletin does not address any subsequent vehicle diagnostic system issues that may exist. OBD system works normally; emission or diagnostic critical malfunctions will be indicated by MIL illumination. ABS system is not functionally affected by the broken ground circuit.
