Toyota Financial Services (TFS) has commenced operations in a new 242,000-square-foot, seven-story building at its Frisco, Texas headquarters campus. This Toyota Financial Services expansion, known as "TFS North," significantly increases the company's operational footprint and capacity, accommodating over 1,000 additional team members. The move aims to enhance collaboration and service capabilities for Toyota's financial arm.

New Facilities and Capacity

The newly constructed TFS North building provides substantial additional office space and parking facilities for the company. It is designed to co-locate larger teams, specifically those supporting customer experience, dealer experience, and data & technology functions. The expansion allows TFS to centralize key operational groups, fostering improved communication and efficiency across departments.

The seven-story structure adds 242,000 square feet to the existing campus, making it possible to house more than 1,000 new team members. An adjoining parking structure offers 800 spaces, including electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, with future plans for real-time space counters to assist with parking availability.

Design Focused on Well-being and Sustainability

TFS North incorporates a design philosophy centered on team member well-being and environmental considerations. The building is recognized as one of the largest mass timber office spaces in the United States, featuring extensive use of Southern Yellow Pine timber. This natural material contributes to a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Tim Conlon, a real estate senior manager involved in the project, noted that a key design priority was to create an open, welcoming, and connected environment. The natural wood structure is intentionally highlighted, and wide-open views are maintained throughout the office to integrate character into the workspace. Amenities for employees include a gym, locker rooms, micro markets, furnished balconies, and a planned future restaurant. Subtle features like white noise systems, sun-adjusting window shades, and daylight harvesting are integrated to enhance concentration and energy efficiency.

Strategic Impact and Future Growth

Alec Hagey, President and CEO of TFS, stated that the new building provides a modern setting for team members to collaborate and deliver services to customers and dealers. The Toyota Financial Services expansion also enables TFS to reconfigure its existing headquarters space, addressing overcrowding and further promoting innovation. This strategic move is intended to position the company for future growth and operational advancements.

Full occupancy of TFS North is anticipated by the fall of 2026, with additional teams continuing to transition into the space in the coming weeks. Toyota Financial Services, which includes Toyota Motor Credit Corporation (TMCC) and Toyota Lease Trust, reported over $150 billion in assets and approximately 3,900 team members nationwide as of March 31, 2026.

This significant Toyota Financial Services expansion of the Toyota Financial Services headquarters in Frisco underscores the company's ongoing investment in its operational infrastructure and workforce. The new facility is designed to support enhanced service delivery and foster a collaborative environment for its growing financial services teams.
