6. Adhesive Preparation: The filling adhesive (part number 83 19 5 A71 4B0) cartridge is placed in boiling water at 212°F for 10 minutes to prepare it for application.
7. Adhesive Application: The mixing nozzle is installed onto the adhesive tube and gun. The first 50 mm of adhesive bead must be discarded. With the borescope still in slot A, adhesive is applied from both slots B and C, using one-quarter of the cartridge for each application.
8. Curing and Reassembly: After applying the adhesive, the vehicle must remain stationary for a 24-hour curing period. Following curing, the slots are cleaned, body plugs are reinstalled, and the vehicle is reassembled. Finally, the repair's effectiveness is verified.
