Repair Procedure Summary

Technicians will first fully open the front sunroof glass panel to begin the inspection. They will then press the seal downwards and inwards with their fingers to check if the adhesive tape is visible and properly adhered. Any stretching or detachment of the foam adhesive tape indicates a problem.

This inspection is performed centimeter by centimeter along the entire length of the front sunroof opening. After closing the front sunroof panel, the rear portion of the sunroof opening perimeter seal is inspected using the same method. If any compromised or failed adhesion is found, the sunroof opening perimeter seal must be replaced according to explicit procedures in ElsaPro, with particular attention to surface preparation to ensure proper adhesion.
