VISIBILITY/WIPER
I was driving on the highway and as I was entering an exit, I heard a loud bang like a shot gun blast. I was on my way back to work from lunch, so I pulled into my office's parking lot. I look at my vehicle's dash display screen to see if a tire had blown. I exited my vehicle and walked around, but didn't notice any damage. Later that afternoon on my way home I heard wind whistling in the vehicle, I checked my windows, but they were all closed. I then opened the sun screen and that is when I noticed a huge hole in the center of my sunroof. The center of the sunroof had blown out.

The contact owns a 2018 Toyota Tundra. The contact stated that when he took his vehicle to be serviced for regular maintenance, he was advised that the vehicle was leaking oil however, there was no warning light illuminated. The contact stated that he was also advised that it was a known issue with his model vehicle, and that the failure might cause a fire. The contact stated that he then contacted the dealer and the manufacturer however, no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was 66,000.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
While driving, multiple warning lights come on and multiple warnings scroll on the dash. Transmission shifting becomes irregular, hard, slipping, pre-collision alert fails, adaptive cruise control fails, ABS system deactivates. I know of this occurring on multiple other Toyota vehicles as well. This has happened three times and only resolves when battery is disconnected. Weeks or months goes by and it recurs.

The contact called the local dealer who stated the parts were not yet available. The contact called another local dealer Mike Shaw Toyota (3232 I-69 Access Rd, Robstown, TX 78380, (361) 238-8080) however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact was concerned about driving the vehicle and a possible fire. The manufacturer was notified but no assistance was provided. The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available.

emissions control pump and valves.it is available for inspection. Truck would only reach 60 mph. pressing the accelerator further causes the truck to slow down. yes dealer diagnosed parts that need replacing. Not inspected by manufacturer or others. see dealer for service light would shine at engine startup for two weeks prior to this problem. I don't know if this pertained to this problem.

VEHICLE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH HAVING A LEFT REAR SPEED SENSOR AND SPEED SENSOR WIRE WAS BROKEN DUE TO A PIECE OF PLASTIC PART CAME SEPARATED FROM THE WHEEL. HAVE ALL KINDS OF LIGHTS COME ON DASHBOARD AND FLASH ON AND OFF, UNTIL SENSOR IS REPLACED WITH NEW AT AN ASTRONOMICAL RATE, WHICH CANNOT BE REPLACED AT THIS TIME. FEEL THAT THE VEHICLE SHOULD BE CONSIDERED RECALLED FOR THIS ISSUE, AS THE WIRE IS JUST HANGING THERE, ATTACHED TO THE WHEEL UNDERNEATH AND SHOULD BE FIXED AND ATTACHED SOMEWHERE ELSE, WHERE IT IS NOT LESS LIKELY TO BE PULLED OR DISRUPTIVE ON THE FUTURE, BY OTHER VEHICLES LIKE MINE IS. SHOULD BE ON A RECALL LIST AS I DO NOT KNOW IF OTHER TOYOTA OWNERS ARE EXPERIENCING THE SAME PROBLEM. THE LIGHTS ON THE DASHBOARD JUST BLINK OFF/ON CONTINUOUSLY, EVEN WHEN IT STARTS AND FROM THE TIME THE VEHICLE STOPS. CANNOT SEE THE SPEED ON THE DASHBOARD WHEN YOU ARE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD.

2018 TUNDRA INTEGRATED BRAKE CONTROLLER INTERMITTENTLY DISCONNECTS TRUCK FROM TRAILER WHEN ATTEMPTING TO BRAKE. TRUCK BRAKES STOP ARE ACTIVATED BUT TRAILER IS DISCONNECTED. TIRES BEGIN TO SMOKE AND THERE IS A BURNING SMELL FROM THE TIRESNOT BEING ABLE TO SLOW OR STOP THE TRAILER. WE HAVE TAKEN 4 TRIPS AND IT HAPPENS ON ALL OF THEM. TOYOTA DEALERSHIP SAID THEY DON'T HAVE A FIX. HUNDREDS OF THE SAME COMPLAINT ON THE INTERNET. THIS FORM ONLY ALLOWS DATE ENTRY FOR ONE INCIDENT. BUT THE OCCURRENCE IS EVERY TRIP. IN FACT, WE DON'T HAVE BRAKES CONNECTION NOW AND TOYOTA DEALERSHIP SAYS THEY DON'T HAVE A FIX.

TRAILER BRAKES ARE NO LONGER FUNCTIONING LOST GAIN OUTPUT TO TRAILER BRAKES. WHILE RIDING DOWN THE HIGHWAY FOR 2 HOURS THE WORRYING CAME UP SAYING - NO TRAILER -CAME ON, IN THE HEADS UP DISPLAY WHAT I GOT HOME I USED MY FLUKE METER TO DETERMINE THAT I HAD NO OUTPUT TO THE TRAILER BRAKES.
