rcta alert signal is to low. I can not hear it at all. I turned in a 2015 avalon, that system , i would say was at medium level, easily indentifiable as an alert warning signal. I assume that the change of mounting position from the shelf behind the back seat to the trunk or the warning device itself is the cause of the low volume.

The cars "Brake Power Low" warning light illuminated on the dash. This was covered as the Brake Vacuum pump for another 2018 Camry that we have, but is not a recall for our other Camry. I am taking it in to Servco Hawaii to diagnose the issue, but again, this was the same issue that our other Camry had. The brake is spongy, and I checked the brake fluid to ensure that it was topped off. This was the first time that I noticed the brakes being spongy.

This is certainly a weird incident that got my passenger side blind spot warning light to stay on solid, even though there was no car or obstacle on my passenger side blind spot. I was driving to pick up my wife at the airport, I was on the right lane and I had all my Toyota Safety Systems 3.0 activated. I was on a highway (65 MPH)when I was approaching to the merging lane, two vehicles were approaching one after another with a very short following distance from one another, my blind spot monitor warning alert came on when the first vehicle got positioned on my blind spot and it seems that when the second vehicle, that was very close to the first vehicle, passed over my blind post again, the warning light got stuck as if the vehicle was still there, causing me to swerve a little bit cause I thought the vehicle was still there. The warning light never came off and whenever I was using the turning signal the automated safety systems thought that there was a vehicle in there and automatically moved my steering wheel to the left side which was dangerous and felt intrusive. after like 20 minutes more driving until I was able to stop the car I shut down the vehicle and waited for about 10 minutes and then restarted again and the warning light disappeared. I was able to record a video of the incident But I am not able to uploaded on the files, because there is no video format upload option.

After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V890000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic). The manufacturer was notified of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was 149,000. The VIN was not available.

I own a 2012 Camry LE with about 70,000 miles which is in excellent condition and well-maintained. Recently I began to hear a rattle, tapping or knocking sound apparently from somewhere in the left engine or cabin area. I feel confident its sources is possibly a steering column issue. You sort of feel it whenever you have some rough road surface; and if it’s a bump you hear the metal knock. While it doesn’t appear to cause a steering malfunction. The issue or noise does seem to come from the steering column. Independent research on the web has indicated that countless queries have been reported about this same year vehicle and issue. Described as a small $10 plastic part that degrades thereby allowing the vibration or knocking noise to appear. Cost to repair again is $10 for part and 7-8 hour labor roughly $950 from the actual dealer to repair. Damper Electric Power Steering Motor Shaft, 48254‑28040 Steering Motor Coupling Gear Replacement for Camery 2012-2014 is the questioned part that is inferior or of poor design that breaks down and causing the noise

There is a problem with these vehicles made from 2012-2014. The car shakes and stutters at around the 40 MPH range. The shudder comes from the transmission, especially during the acceleration of the Camry models. It can be alarming for the driver and be a safety concern when the gears do not properly change during operation.

I was driving the vehicle and hit a bump, and the driver side sunvisor dropped down into the sunshield position. I almost got in an accident because I couldn’t see and then I couldn’t get The sunvisor to stay up. This is the fourth sunvisor we have bought from Toyota. All of the three other sunvisors have done the exact same thing and I feel this is dangerous. The people at Toyota confided in me that this is a big problem with many Toyota’s. I am concerned that had my wife been driving she would have gotten in an accident because the sunvisor obstructed the view of the driver. Toyota to charge us $270 for both driver and passenger side sunvisors. Our mechanic put them in for free.

Check engine light- P28AE “Engine Coolant Bypass Valve B”. Checkered Flag Toyota Virginia Beach, VA states that it’s been a huge issue at their service center and that they repair several cars, weekly, with this error. The rep told me that this should be a recall and can’t sure why it’s not, due to the sheer volume of this issue

My 2010 Toyota Camry LE dashboard is physically sticky, extremely shiny, & material of dashboard is melting & breaking down. It produces fumes at higher temperatures & seems to add fog to glass. The entire dashboard material is impacted. It has drip marks, bubbling, and erosion & getting worse. The area where the passenger airbag would deploy from is impacted, as well as overall integrity of physical dashboard across entire dashboard. The vehicle is available for inspection. My safety and the safety of others is being put at risk by the following: Multiple significant safety issues for driver & passengers from dashb1) visibility issues from extreme glare onto windshield result in blinding and/or distractiing driver, 2) Integrity of dashboard material is compromised (spongy, sticky, breaking down & worse with heat in normal conditions of use) 3) the dashboard is impaired where airbag would deploy from, 4) exposure to chemical fumes and particles from dashboard materials continues as it breaks down. I had Toyota Dealership Service Manager to view & inspect this dashboard in person on [XXX]. The service manager sat in driver seat and observed problem with extreme glare, touch to confirm stickiness, and I pointed to example of drips of melting dashboard, small pieces chipped & eroded from dashboard. The service manager also confirmed the passenger airbag does deploy from the dashboard (when asked). The toyota service manager then checked for recall or service program related to this issue. A customer service program would have replaced this for free - but showed as expired. I was then provided an estimate for dashboard replacement of $3128. This is serious defect that demands a safety recall. It impacts the safety and integrity of my vehicle and others on the road in the U.S. My vehicle only has 75,560 miles. No sensors or warning lights exist for dashboard material I'm aware of. The problem has been evolving overtime and getting worse. Merits safety recall. Car was brought to dealership for brake vacuum booster recall. After being assessed it was lowered to the ground and the Front RH Strut /Spring Assembly broke free from the vehicle - The internal portion of the mount was completely rusted apart thus detaching from the outer “shell” of the strut mount leading to a completely unsafe condition that required repair. The vehicle has 145,000 miles and no other signs of rust near this part, parts related too, or on the body panels near this area. Parts have since been replaced and car is operational. Could have caused accident if coil Spring broke free of assembly during regular driving. No warning lights, strange noises or other indicators spoke to how decayed this part was. Not caught during inspection prior to car being purchased 2 yrs ago.
