Total Transmission failed putting our safety at risk on a busy highway. Problem has been taken care of by an Independant Service Center. The car would not switch gears on acceleration to merge with traffic on the interstate and made a horrible noise and Check Engine light came on. $6000 later and week without a car, it is fixed. Our previous Toyotas NEVER gave us as many problems as this model. We are so disappointed and regret our purchase. Friends say " Buy a Toyota...they last forever...NOT !!" This is one of the worst models ever. A 5 yr old car with low mileage should not have a transmission blow. Transmission specialist told us many are putting in complaints of the same situation with same model but not enough yet to cause a Recall...IT NEEDS TO BE RECALLED. Makes me reconsider ever purchasing a Toyota again.

The driver door began to rattle when the door was closed or when driving down the road. I took it to my Toyota dealer and when they removed the door panel they found the intrusion bar's weld had failed. They confirmed it was a safety issue and referred me to their body shop. The body shop informed they are not allowed to reweld the bar and the only fix is to replace the door. This car has never been in an accident so my only conclusion is that when the car was manufactured the weld was improperly performed. I cannot afford to replace this door and I'm left to drive a car with no intrusion bar to protect me in an accident. I find this very concerning and this should not be something I should have to repair. In conclusion I believe this is Toyota manufacturing issue and they should be responsible for replacing this door which is endangering my safety as an owner and consumer. Thank you.

The contact stated that when they went to their vehicle, they noticed that the rear driver's side tire, which had recently been rotated from the front of the vehicle, was bulging outward near the rim. The contact stated that the tire was the original tire. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer. The tire was not repaired or replaced. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 14,893.

My 2018 Toyota Camry (VIN [XXX] ) crashed and burned completely on Nov 16, 2025. while driving on the Freeway the vehicle stopped suddenly without any notice on dashboard all electrical turned off steering wheel locked and lost control hit left fwy barrier which caused car to spun couple times and when it came to a complete stop was not able to turn car or even turn emergency lights on and couple seconds later was rear ended by another vehicle which caused vehicle to catch on fire and vehicle was fully in flames after reviewing history of vehicle I never received notification of Toyota Recall 18V-200, which addresses defective pistons that can cause engine stalling, rough running, loss of power, or sudden failure. Based on VIN and production date, my car likely falls within the recall. Police and fire reports are available. Catastrophic engine failure due to piston pin bushings/connecting rod bushing failing. The engine was removed, disassembled, and inspected by an automotive machinist. There were no warning lamps or messages, only a knocking sound. The Toyota dealership said there was severe knocking from lower engine, and their remedy was a new engine.

I was leaving a doctor's office and getting on the highway. When I pressed down on the accelerator, I experienced a sudden loss of power, the check engine light came on, as well as warnings about the front collision system being deactivated. It remained dangerous for me to stay on the highway but it was also difficult to exit the highway safely given the loss of power. When I brought it to a Toyota dealership, they did a diagnostic and it said my transmission had an "internal failure" despite the fact that it only has 85k miles on it.

The contact owns a 2017 Toyota Camry. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, there was an abnormal sound coming from the engine compartment. After a visual inspection, the contact observed that the oil level was abnormally low despite the vehicle being serviced within 2,000 miles. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, and an oil consumption test was performed, and was still ongoing. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, and a case was opened. The failure mileage was 200,000.

Wiper blades motor is way too slow. This is on high and dangerously to slow to operate my vehicle in semi heavy rainfall. All my other vehicles are way faster. The 2025 hybrid is the unsafest to drive in rain. Online many have stated same issues. One owner mentioned coming here to report it.

Purchased this vehicle at a big dealership and driving noticed glaring across the windshield try washing not helping took vehicle to glass shop that told me windshield damaged from rock chips and was pitted all the way through and could not be repaired has to be replaced dealership refuses to replace even though it has glare in sunlight and impairs my vision when driving The custom relation manager said it would have to be shattered or cracked before they would fix she referred me to go to a tint shop to have inside tint installed to help with the glaring that’s a negative because that can make it worse for seeing this damage was not disclosed during sale so this falls under deceptive sale practice and this is bad business the vehicle has car fax report and was a commercial vehicle so this all makes sense why the windshield is as bad as it is also dealership told me to contact my insurance and deal with it that way this is a safety issue when driving and the sun makes it glare and hard to visibly see I want the dealership to take responsibility for this repair since it wasn’t disclosed to me at time of sale this purchase was done November 5 2025 it’s only been a couple weeks Also when I purchased this vehicle the first day of driving I noticed wrong tire speed rate was on car the vehicle calls for 95 H and it had 95 T which is a lower speed rate and is a safety issue as well on 11/11/25 I replaced out of my pocket and put four tires with proper speed rate for that vehicle I’m demanding to this dealership for reimbursement on that as well… Safelite glass did estimate on windshield and I purchased proper tires at big chief

“Hi, my name is [XXX] , my vehicle VIN [XXX] . I want to report a life-threatening situation that just occurred in our new 2026 Toyota Camry which was purchased [XXX] this year. On ([XXX]) evening @ [XXX] while driving on [XXX] North towards Cumming, the passenger side back tire suddenly dislodged itself from the rim and went flying across the highway. Because of this, I found myself in a state of immense panic, seeing the car tilt on one side, scraping away the smooth rim and ruining part of the back of the car and the undercarriage. Could have caused severe damage to my health and others on the highway, luckily truck driver blocked the lanes for me. We understand that manufacturing companies can have slight mishaps at times, but the severity of this issue could permanently compromise our safety. Although we hoped for almost no issues for the next few years, witnessing the quick detachment of the tire was the last thing we could ever expected. We also have teenager drivers at home, who rely on this car for simple transportation and our goal is to ensure they drive this car with confidence, but this incident has got rid of our peace of mind.
