On August 29, 2019 Chrysler expanded the recall to include an additional 693,128 model year 2013-2014 Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 pickup trucks. If, when using cruise control, there is a short circuit within the vehicle's wiring, the driver may not be able to shut off the cruise control either by depressing the brake pedal or manually turning the system off once it has been engaged, resulting in either the vehicle maintaining its current speed or possibly accelerating.
Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling various Dodge, Chrysler, and RAM vehicles equipped with Kidde Plastic-Handle or Push Button 'Pindicator' Fire Extinguishers. A list of the affected trailer models is available at: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2017/RMISC-17V824-0103.pdf. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or requiring excessive force to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable. For a full list of the affected fire extinguisher models visit: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2017/RMISC-17E062-5427.pdf
I am reporting a suspected odometer fraud involving a 2014 Ram 2500 Laramie 4WD with a 6.4L HEMI engine that was advertised for sale for $17,200. The seller advertised the truck as having approximately 110,000 miles, and when I inspected it in person, the dashboard odometer displayed approximately 109,000 miles. Before purchasing the vehicle, I checked its VIN history using CARFAX and a second vehicle history website. The records showed that the truck had approximately 220,000 miles recorded about two years earlier, which is more than double the mileage currently displayed on the odometer. I verified this discrepancy using two separate sources and decided not to purchase the vehicle. The truck appeared clean, and a pre-purchase inspection mechanic also examined it, but the mileage discrepancy raised serious concerns that the odometer may have been tampered with or the vehicle's mileage misrepresented. I am submitting this report so the discrepancy can be investigated.

On September 30, 2026, a Ram dealership completed the Emissions Recall 67A / VB6 software flash on my vehicle. Following the precise instructions listed in the official 67A Recall Owner Notification, I submitted a request for reimbursement for an out-of-pocket NOx sensor replacement that I paid for on March 4, 2022, prior to the recall’s release. The documentation review team has twice issued a boilerplate denial stating: “The repairs were made prior to the effectivity of the extended warranty. We will not be able to reimburse those out-of-pocket repair expenses at this time.” This denial reason is a catastrophic error in regulatory compliance: Confusion of Terms: The review team is mistakenly evaluating a Pre-Recall Reimbursement Claimunder standard, future Extended Warranty (XQ1) rules. Chronological Impossibility: By definition, a pre-recall repair must take place prior to the recall's execution. The 67A federal recall framework explicitly mandates that Stellantis reimburse owners for valid, out-of-pocket expenses incurred to fix the defect before the recall software flash was available. Regulatory Violation: Failing to honor valid prior-repair reimbursements directly violates the court-ordered emissions settlement guidelines established with the EPA and CARB. The frontline recall phone team stated they have no power to override the documentation department, and the documentation department is refusing to read the text of my appeal, simply copy-pasting the same invalid rejection code. I have met every legal prerequisite. The recall is completed and closed on my VIN, and my attached itemized invoice proves a professional NOx sensor replacement occurred.

Drag link recall for my 2014 Ram 2500 was performed in 2019 and failed in 2024 causing the steering component to became loose while driving. When I had it "re-fixed" by Folsom Lake Dodge and Chrysler dealership they re-welded it without aligning the steering column so my steering wheel has been off ever since(not centered). This needs to be fixed not band aided.
