Frequent short trips and city driving can cause the warning ?Maximum oil level exceeded? to appear in the instrument cluster. If an oil level warning message ("Maximum oil level exceeded" or "Below minimum oil level") appears in the instrument cluster, the current oil level must always be checked using the AfterSales Service dipstick before doing any other work.
