SummaryDear Nissan Sentra Owner: Thank you for being a Nissan owner. We strive to provide you with an excellent ownership experience that includes confidence in your vehicleâs performance, features and overall reliability. To that end, Nissan is extending the limited warranty covering your continuously variable transmission (CVT) to 7 years/84,000 miles, whichever comes first. This warranty extension is being provided as an owner satisfaction effort to address concerns, including those expressed by plaintiffs in class action litigation. This CVT warranty extension covers your CVT assembly (including internal CVT components, gaskets, and seals, CVT control valve body, and torque converter), cooler kit (if applicable), and any necessary software updates. Coverage of other vehicle components remains unchanged, and all other terms, conditions, limitations and exclusions of Nissanâs New Vehicle Limited Warranty continue to apply. What You Should Do This extended warranty coverage is effective immediately. You do not need to take any further action. The Sentra with the Vehicle Identification Number listed at the top of this page is covered by this extended CVT warranty. If you seek coverage for a repair under this extended warranty, you will need to bring your vehicle to an authorized Nissan dealer. The factorytrained technical staff at the Nissan dealer will have the diagnostic tools and knowledge to provide you with the appropriate service and submit your warranty claim As you take care of yourself and your family during the COVID-19 crisis, we know that your vehicle may play a key role. We are here to help if you need us. Service Department hours of operation may be modified as local and state restrictions change, so we encourage you to book your appointment online or call your local Dealership to confirm service availability.

SummaryQR25 Cylinder Head Voluntary Emission Recall Campaign ***** Campaign Summary ***** Nissan is conducting a Voluntary Emission Recall Campaign on approximately 2,209 specific MY2018 Nissan Rogue (T32) and 5,557 specific MY2018 Altima (L33) 2.5L vehicles identified in Service Comm to inspect the engine identification markings and, if they are from the subject manufacturing lot, the suspect cylinders and spark plugs will be inspected. If necessary, dealers may replace the engine, exhaust manifold catalyst, air fuel (A/F) ratio sensor, and oxygen sensor. A machining issue in the engine may exist, which could allow oil to escape past the valve guides and enter the combustion chamber. If an affected engine is not repaired, the performance of the manifold catalyst could degrade over time and cause exhaust gas emissions to exceed standards at high mileage. This incident has no effect on safety or fuel consumption but may decrease engine performance in rare cases. If Nissan has previously replaced the engine in the vehicle due to this condition, the exhaust manifold catalyst, air fuel (A/F) ratio sensor, and oxygen sensor will be replaced. ***** What Dealers Should Do**** 1. Verify campaign applicability using Service Comm or DBS National Service History â Open Campaign I.D. ï· PC716 - Inspect Engine Identification Markings ï· PC717 - Manifold Catalyst Replacement 2. Dealers should use the appropriate campaign bulletin to remedy any vehicles subject to these campaigns: ï· PC716 â NTB20-025 ï· PC717 â NTB20-027 3. Once repaired, dealers should submit the claim, using the claims coding provided, and release the vehicle.

SummaryVOLUNTARY EMISSIONS RECALL CAMPAIGN 2018 ALTIMA AND ROGUE; EXHAUST MANIFOLD AND THREE WAY CATALYST ASSEMBLY INTRODUCTION Nissan is conducting this voluntary emissions recall campaign on certain specific model year 2018 Altima and Rogue vehicles. The exhaust manifold and three way catalyst assembly and two exhaust sensors will be replaced. This service will be performed at no charge to the customer for parts or labor. IDENTIFICATION NUMBER Nissan has assigned identification number PC717 to this campaign. This number must appear on all communication and documentation of any nature dealing with this campaign. DEALER RESPONSIBILITY It is the dealerâs responsibility to check Service COMM or Dealer Business Systems (DBS) National Service History for the campaign status on each vehicle falling within the range of this voluntary emissions recall which for any reason enters the service department. This includes vehicles purchased from private parties or presented by transient (tourist) owners and vehicles in a dealerâs inventory. Federal law requires that new vehicles in dealer inventory which are the subject of an emissions recall must be corrected prior to sale. Failure to do so can result in civil penalties. While federal law applies only to new vehicles, Nissan strongly encourages dealers to correct any used vehicles in their inventory before they are retailed.

SummaryRear Lower Link Salt States Voluntary Service Campaign ***** Campaign Summary***** Nissan is conducting a Voluntary Service Campaign on certain Model Year 2013 Nissan Altima vehicles in USA (high road salt usage states) and Model Year 2013 and 2014 Nissan Altima vehicles in Canada to replace the rear suspension lower link. On some affected vehicles, one of the rear lower suspension links may corrode and separate at the bushing joint area. Customers may notice a knocking or rattling noise from the rear of the vehicle or observe wheel misalignment on the rear wheel(s) if the link separates. Out of an abundance of caution, Nissan will conduct a proactive field action on vehicles currently or formerly registered in specific U.S. states with high road salt usage and in Canada. This activity is launching to dealers in two (2) phases, beginning with Vermont, Ohio, and Wisconsin in the U.S in October 2019. Phase II, for remaining salt states (Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Virginia, Washington D.C., and West Virginia), is launching to dealers on December 6, 2019. ***** What Dealers Should Do ***** 1. Verify if vehicles are affected by this Voluntary Service Campaign using Service Comm or DBS National Service History - Open Campaign I.D. P9324. 2. Dealers should repair any affected vehicles in retailer pre-owned inventory or vehicles taken on trade to help ensure customer satisfaction. 3. Dealers should use NTB19-082 to remedy any vehicles subject to this campaign. 4. The service department should submit the applicable warranty claim for the action performed so it can be closed on Service Comm and release the vehicle.
