Flash: Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Updates This bulletin involves reprogramming the PCM with the latest available software. Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find one or more ofthe following DTCs.P0456 - EVAP System Small Leak.If DTC P0456 is present use the wiTECH Small Leak Verification test (SLVT)to determine if a leak is present in the system. P1404 - EGR Close Position Performance. P1206 - Fuel Pump Control Module Open Circuit To Fuel Pump. Upon diagnosing the vehicle the technician may find DTC P1206 set before flashing the vehicle, the correct DTC will nowbe P025A - Fuel Pump Module Control Circuit Open after the software update.In addition the customer may notice one or more of the following:The customer may notice an ability to shift into 1st gear at an unsafespeed(MTX Only). Cluster displays "Autopark Engaged" even when autopark is no longer active.

SEAL, Input If looking to replace stubshaft due to ATX fluid leaking, do not replace PTU seals. None of the seals from the PTU side will need to be replaced whenever the ATX stubshaft is replaced, even though V-seal (68408748A$) is in direct contact with the stubshaft, it will not avoid grease/oil leakage from transmission side. PTU V-seals are intended to act as a dust cover for stubshaft - PTU input shaft spline interface. PTU Input shaft seal (68408749A$) is intended to hold PTU oil and debris ingress; it should be replaced only if the fluid leakage is confirmed to be PTU oil and not ATX trans. fluid.

HANDLE AND CABLE, Seat Release If you have a 2 door JL with EZ entry handle that is loose or appears broken follow the procedure below. Mounting bracket has grease present which may have damaged plastic part. Please call Adam Rose (586) 804-4315) for cleaning procedure prior to replacing any parts. If no response in 15 minutes, proceed with repair after thoroughly cleaning grease off metal mounting bracket as follows. Clean metal mounting bracket with brake cleaner sprayed onto shop rag, rub on mounting surface until grease is removed. Do not spray brake cleaner directly onto seat. Replacement plastic part may fail in same way if grease is not removed.
