2019 QX50 PGF Film Removal ? Supplemental Information This bulletin applies only to vehicles equipped with a panoramic moonroof. What Retailers Should Do: This information applies to 2019 QX50 equipped with a panoramic moonroof only. In reference to bulletin ITB01-024e, there is a clear protective tape on the right and left moonroof trim finishers which also should be removed during the PGF removal process. If this action has not been completed on vehicles in retailer inventory, please perform this action immediately to ensure easy removal and avoid trim damage. Key points: Use a tool that will not scratch the surface of the finishers or surrounding areas of the vehicle to peel the edge of the film back, then remove the film from the entire surface of the right and left trim.

SERVICE INFORMATION This bulletin has information for two services for which a technician may need additional help: - While performing DAST CALIBRATION (MODE1), the calibration may stop or will not start. - DTC C13E9-00 (BOOTING ANGLE PROCESSING) and C13EB-00 (BOOTING ANGLE PROCESSING) are stored and cannot be erased. The above conditions may indicate that DAST CALIBRATION (MODE1) was not performed correctly or was not completed correctly. Use the SERVICE PROCEDURE in this bulletin as an aid to correctly perform and complete DAST CALIBRATION MODE 1. NOTE: - The SERVICE PROCEDURE in this bulletin does not contain all of the required steps. - The Electronic Service Manual (ESM) must be used together with this bulletin. - This bulletin contains additional clarification as an aid to perform DAST CALIBRATION MODE 1.

2019 QX50; SERVICE INFORMATION FOR DTC P11AB SERVICE INFORMATION The Applied Vehicle has a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) that can be stored if power is interrupted to the Variable Compression Ratio Control Module Circuit under certain conditions. DTC P11AB ? (VCR control module circuit) can be stored if: - 12 volt power is interrupted while the ignition is ON, or up to 3 minutes after the ignition was turned OFF - Refer to the Electronic Service Manual (ESM). Search precautions for removing battery in Title Search for further information. - Vehicle battery has low voltage - Vehicle battery is incorrectly disconnected - Refer to the ESM. Search precautions for removing battery in Title Search for further information. - ECU is disconnected before properly disconnecting the 12 volt battery In these cases DTC P11AB will be accompanied by other DTCs related to low voltage or connection codes. If P11AB is stored during one of the above conditions, with DTCs that are related to low voltage or connection issues, P11AB and related DTCs can be erased with no further action. NOTE: If DTC P11AB is stored by itself, refer to the ESM for further diagnostic information.

The windshield washer mixture concentrate does not meet INFINITI specifications. Because the windshield washer fluid does not meet INFINITI specifications, retailers should complete 100% of these adjustments prior to sale to help maintain our commitment to the highest levels of quality and owner satisfaction. ***** What Retailers Should Do ***** PLEASE FOLLOW THE ATTACHED REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Verify if vehicles are affected by this client satisfaction initiative using Service Comm or DBS National Service History ? Open Campaign I.D. PC621 - New vehicles in retailer inventory can also be identified through the attached VIN list or by using DBS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). - Refer to IPSB 15-286 for additional information - Please continue to check newly arriving inventory for campaign applicability. 2. Use the attached procedure to adjust the washer fluid mixture. 3. The service department should submit the applicable warranty claim for the action performed so it can be closed on Service Comm and release the vehicle. ***** Retailer Responsibility ***** It is the retailer?s responsibility to check Service Comm or DBS National Service History ? 2019 QX50; CENTER CONSOLE SLIDING SHUTTER INFORMATION SERVICE INFORMATION The 2019 QX50 comes from the factory with an instructional label on the sliding shutter that covers the center console cup holders (see Figure 1). This label is installed to provide instructions on how to operate the sliding shutter. DO NOT remove this label during PDI or while the vehicle is in retailer inventory. Leave this label attached. The vehicle owner can remove this label after they read and understand the slide operation. NOTE: The Infiniti New Vehicle Limited Warranty does not cover incidents due to lack of vehicle maintenance and/or physical damage. Refer to the Assurance Products Resource Manual (APRM) for guidelines on warranty coverage. The vehicle owner's manual contains the complete details regarding the limited warranty. Refer to the next page for additional sliding shutter information.

DBS Enhancement: Custom VIN Campaign Report INFINITI is pleased to announce the availability of a new DBS enhancement to the Service > Campaign screen: Custom VIN Campaign Report. The tool identifies open campaigns on a customized VIN list loaded into DBS for INFINITI and Nissan vehicles. The following personnel will have access to this tool: - Retailer: Executive Managers, Service Managers, and/or Service Directors - Regions: Regional Aftersales Manager (RAM), Area General Manager (AGM), Fixed Operations Manager (FOM), Regional Service Operation Managers (RSOM), and Retailer Technical Specialist (DTS) The VINS can be loaded individually or up to 10,000 VINs at a time. If you have more than 10,000 VINs, each incremental VIN file of 10,000 or less VINs will need to be loaded prior to selecting the Check For Open Campaigns option. The report can be viewed on screen or exported to Microsoft Excel and will identify the following for each VIN loaded into the tool: - Open Campaigns (ID and description) - Model Code, Model, and Model Year - Current Repair Status Blank: Repair order (RO) has not been opened yet Unrepaired: RO has been opened for the campaign, but not closed or submitted o Repaired: RO for the campaign has been closed and a warranty claim has been submitted - Current Claim Status o Blank: RO still open o Unsubmitted: A warranty claim for the campaign repair has not been submitted o Submitted: A RO has been closed and a campaign warranty claim has been submitted for payment o Suspended: The campaign warranty claim has suspended for one or more errors o Rejected: The campaign warranty claim has been denied for some reason (by retailer or NNA) o Paid: A campaign warranty claim has been submitted and paid by NNA, but the vehicle has not yet been removed from the NNA open campaign vehicle table - Stop Sale Applicability - Parts Restriction Applicability (If restricted, SVC order must be used to acquire parts)
