Driving down I-5 and heard an extremely loud explosion above driver and passenger seats. Upon inspection at home, the sunroof has shattered with a hole directly in the middle of the unit. No debris or vehicles were in front of the vehicle during the incident.

SEAT BELTS
Multiple times while I am driving the drivers seatbelt comes unmatched. This does not happen during a specific time like hard breaking. It just randomly comes out and the alarms start going off. It has occurred 3 times in the last 2 months. They are unable to fix the problem for 3 weeks

While driving our Palisade on the freeway, the sunroof exploded without warning. Fortunately, the sunroof was closed and we had the internal compartment closed and no one was behind us on the freeway. So the glass did not enter the vehicle or hit another vehicle. But if the indoor compartment was open then glass would have entered into the vehicle and striking individuals in the car. The shattered glass did do damage to the top of our car (i.e. scratches deep enough to take off the paint completely). Based on online forums, and one law firm’s (based in Connecticut) website, this is a known problem with the Hyundai Palisade. It also appears that the NHTSA is investigating the Kia Sorento for this same problem. Thus, the problem has been replicated in other vehicles and Kia/Hyundai are aware of the problem. Our vehicle has not yet been inspected by anyone (we are taking it to the dealer in the near future). There was no warning that this was going to happen, it just sounded like a gun was being fired in our car.

FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
when driving it gives warning Forward collision assistance system disabled. radar Blocked. warning stays for 3 to 5 minutes and goes away. But during that time when car is in cruise it is disabling the cruise mode. I took it dealer and said they need to change the Camera module unit behind the Rear view mirror and replaced it. But after coming out of dealer and driving for few miles again warning popped up and stayed for few mins. I took it back to dealer and this time they said AVN head unit need to be replaced. I informed this to Hyundai as well and they created case with case number: 20602610. This started happening in July 2022 and i was coordinating with dealer to fix this. still the issue is being worked on.

When driving down the road with my 7 year old in the vehicle, the single moonroof spontaneously exploded. No warning signs whatsoever, the vehicle is garage kept and there was no impact to the roof of the vehicle. The glass exploded outwards. The safety issue this creates is the glass particles. The loud is incredibly startling which could cause an accident. This was confirmed to have happened before by a buyer at the servicing dealership.

While driving down the highway a truck in front of me slings a rock into my windshield. Watched this small crack run all the way across my windshield shortly after. These windshields are too fragile. I have never experienced this with any other vehicle I have owned.

UNKNOWN OR OTHER, BACK OVER PREVENTION: WARNINGS
This issue was first noticed on December 13th, 2021, and has been an ongoing frustration. I am constantly getting this error: "Parking Sensor Error or Blockage." Please take a look at the attached picture as a reference. On February 8th, 2022, I brought my Hyundai Palisade to the dealer's service department for them to find out what may be wrong. Their technician notes: "Scan all modules for codes with GDS. No DTC in any module. Drove vehicle testing all front and rear sensors, and all are working as designed." Please see attached PDF of the service department's official printout. But I have had the same repeating issue since, most recently, last week. Something must be wrong with these technicians. Last year I had the front passenger window whistling sound issue, and technicians said after driving the Palisade that nothing was wrong with it and everything was working as designed. Time after, Hyundai issued a recall because of this issue! I don't trust the service department, and driving this car with a faulty sensor is a concern. Please advise, as the warranty period might be almost over, and I don't know what else to try. We barely use this car; while not in use, it's parked inside a garage and, when used, is for road trips.

The contact had taken the vehicle to the dealer who performed a temporary fix by removing the fuse to the tow hitch module, rendering the tow hitch inoperable. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. The contact owns a 2020 Hyundai Palisade. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the windshield wipers were engaged and wiped across the windshield once and then stopped working. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V627000 (Visibility) and 22V633000 (Trailer Hitches) however, the parts to do the recall repairs were not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the tow hitch fuse was removed. The dealer was unable to duplicate the failure with the windshield wipers. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repairs. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The approximate failure mileage was 100. Parts distribution disconnect. The contact stated that the trailer hitch issue was resolved. The wiper failure occurs regularly and even during clear, sunny weather conditions. Hyundai states that the wipers are operating at "normal function".

Yet again the wipers failed to operate with a small amount of snow buildup on the wiper arm. I see a recall for the 2020 and 2021 Hyundai Palisades but not for my 2022. I feel this is extremely dangerous and needs to be remedied ASAP. Having to pull over on a busy snowy highway to clear the snow buildup just to get the wipers to work is a catastrophe waiting to happen.

While in operation speedometer was not working. Zero indication on mph gage and needle. Erratic operation. On sometimes, off zero sometimes. Both gages. Took video as proof. Took to dealer but tech unable to replicate condition so no repairs done. I feel vehicle is unsafe when the gage is zero because I have no idea of my speed.
