Bridgestone Turanza Quiet Track Tires bought 2 April 2023, and 2 in July 2023 at Discount Tire.I has to replace all 4 today with than half (20,000) of the 80,000 mile tread wear. A ripoff and dangerous. I was notified by sales rep that Bridgestone knows these tires are not for the hot climate. I live in Conroe, Texas.

When reversing and turning my wheels either right or left would hear a clunking sound. When putting my car in drive and straighten wheels, I would hear and feel something slip. While driving and making a right or left turn, on several occasions I have had to literally jerk the steering wheel to straighten vehicle wheels back straight to prevent from keep turning. Dealing with this issue and several trips to a dealership and the issue unresolved I went elsewhere. The automotive repair shop immediately shared with me the issue was related to the "steering coupler"! To date I am very concerned about the safety of driving my vehicle as to not knowing when or if it will completely fail while driving? Safety issue!

Due to CDK Global cyberattack, I cannot complete my safety recall of my Hyundai Elantra 2015 (ABS Fuse that can cause engine to explode, according to Hyundai safety recall report). Hyundai does not allow dealerships to keep safety recall parts on hand (or a very small amount). I have to walk into the dealership to order the part. I cannot call to order the part. I have to constantly drive to place of work, home, sit in traffic, with a defective fuse that HyundaiUSA refuses to keep safety recall parts on hand. Please create a NATIONAL policy against manufacturers to have a minimum units (1000 units of fuses, parts, etc) as the safety recall occurs. Because dealerships cannot order parts due to this cyberattack. My mental anguish of driving a vehicle that cannot have a safety recall repaired due to parts not being able to order (especially if they can keep large amounts of units on hand at dealers), is through the roof! I cannot take time off, I have to drive to not be evicted, anything repossessed, etc. and where I live has limited transportation options, (and told to use ride share like Lyft or Uber). Insurance companies is unhelpful. If manufacturers say they cannot keep parts on hand, then how do they ship the parts so quickly, under normal operations? 3rd party mechanic shops cannot order these parts as the manufacturer has to complete the recall repair.

I was driving down the interstate when my car completely locked up, my brakes stopped working, the steering wheel wouldn't turn, the car completely shut down, so I had to make my way off the bisy interstate luckily I didn't have an accident so I took it to a mechanic and found out the alternator went out, so it was replaced then less than a year later i had issues with the headlights not working then magically comong on while driving, and the interior lighta will work then bot work but the bulbs are new, leading to another replacement alternator, then less than about 8 months pass and I have issues with the electrical stuff again not wanting to work even when new bulbs are pit in the car, the radio turning on and off by itself and I've had to put it a third alternator in less than 3 years, it's a driving hazard and safety hazard. My driver side door handle will only open from the inside and it doesn't shut inkess the door is locked and the car has to be turned on. The belt in my 2016 hyundai elanyra looks like it's shredding and it's throwing black stuff on the inside of my hood. I've had preoffwsional mechanics look at it and the alternator is assembled correctly, and now my ball joints are all of a sudden needing to be replaced inthe front.

I was driving my 2012 Hyundai Elantra and it suddenly stopped. I took it to be checked out and it has an excessive oil consumption issue which can cause engine failure or a fire. Hyundai refuses to acknowledge the issue or fix it. After doing some research I see that this is a common problem with this car. I have to check my oil every 1000 miles and many times less than that and refill it. They should be held responsible and fix the issue. There should also have been a recall considering not only how dangerous this is, but also how many people are experiencing this.

- #11596227June 24, 2024TIRES, TIRES:TREAD/BELT
I purchased a new vehicle, 2016 Hyundai, from a local dealer, with a current mileage of 47,000. Hankook tires were OEM with the vehicle. I religiously bring my vehicle into the dealer for all maintenance, including rotating and balancing the tires every 3,000 miles. The first set of tires FAILED (less than 3/32) at approximately 23,000 miles. The dealer indicated that I need new tires and that the tread wear failure was more than likely due to a defective set. So, they sold me another set of the same tire. I was in the dealer the other day for maintenance, oil change, tire rotation, etc. and was told that the new set of tires have 3/32 left on them and that I need a new set of tires. These tires have approximately 24,000 miles on them. The Hankook tires that I have are supposedly warranted for 70,000 miles. The tread failure at 24,000 miles means I have approximately 1/3 of the use - advertised warranty and actual life expectancy is fraud - it is no where close. It is a gimmick to prorate and hook the consumer into buying another set of tires. The dealer is trying to sell me, yet again, ANOTHER set of tires. At this point I have gone through TWO SETS of Hankook tires, within 47,000 miles. This is not normal. OEM tires on my Honda lasted twice as long before having to purchase a new set. Yet, the OEM and new set that I purchased are averaging 23,000 miles each, with a said warranty of 70,000 miles?

- #11596221June 24, 2024ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, UNKNOWN OR OTHER, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
My car has two warning lights on my dashboard. First one is Check Foward Safety system. Second one is Check Smart Cruise Control System. Both of them turned on when I was driving in the middle of a highway. These warning lights activated out of the blue, without any unusual circumstances.I cannot use my smart cruise control system and the car is not able to alert me about forward collision. This issue has already been addressed through a recall for my vehicle's model and year in Korea. My vehicle was produced in Korea and was imported to the United States; however, Hyundai has not issued a recall regarding the same problem in the United States. This is a safety concern, and Hyundai should repair it free of charge, and the company should compensate customers who have already undergone repairs for the repair costs.

My 2017 Hyundai Elentra Sport engine failed with 127,000 miles on it. Hyundai had a class action lawsuit for many models that guaranteed engine replacement and extended the life of the warranty to 15 years/150,000 miles. Unfortunately, it is the same issue with my model. Oil consumption issues resulting in a Blown piston. Oil was changed a week prior. Preston Hyundai confirmed that it was a Rod failure in the second piston. Paid the diagnostic fee and they put in a “Good Will claim and it was denied within 30 minutes. Preston Hyundai still has not sent me a receipt detailing their diagnostic or a copy of the goodwill claim after multiple requests. I want the record of this because the class action lawsuit that ended up protecting owners many years later

I (finally) received a letter with instructions for what to do to make an appointment to get my car fixed so it doesn't catch on fire per Recall 251, but I was unable to do so. I followed the instructions exactly. When I go to the website [XXX] and enter my VIN number, the recall appears. But then when I try to schedule an appointment, that recall does not appear as an option to create the appointment for. They did not test this system at all, and they did not list any other ways to make the appointment in the letter.
