The adhesive that bonds the vented portion of the window may fail.
I own a 2017 Forest River RiverStone fifth-wheel RV equipped with Lippert 3000 Series frameless windows. Two windows of the same style have come loose and fallen out while the RV was being towed. This creates a serious safety hazard for occupants and other motorists from falling glass and road debris. My October 27, 2023, Lippert receipt identifies the replacement window as part V000341342, model 3000 FVD, F300-43207, measuring 48 x 24 inches, with insulated tempered glass and a black frame. I am concerned about a possible adhesive bonding defect between the opening glass section and its hinge. Forest River advised that my RV does not show as covered under the recall they checked and directed me to contact Lippert. A replacement now costs approximately $1,550, compared with $728.95 for the window itself in 2023. I request that NHTSA investigate these repeated failures and determine whether the windows are affected by an existing recall or require additional safety action. I can provide my purchase receipt, photographs, and correspondence with Forest River.

Found that two separate brake lines became disconnected from the brake units allowing all of the brake fluid to spray out and put zero pressure on the brake pads. There is a Facebook page for Riverstone owners. I found that there are a handful of other reports of similar brake failure on other Riverstone 5th wheel trailers, and some users report repeated failures. The problem seems to be a systemic one in that the brake lines are barely secured on their path from the pumping unit to the individual brakes and there is no provision to deal with the normal vibration that they experience. These are large trailer units that pose a significant risk to others when their brakes fail.

During my last towing of the RV I found out the RV brakes were not working. Today upon visual inspection I found one hydraulic brake line T junction came apart above the middle axle, and the connection on the driver's side rear wheel outside calibers disconnected. I have taken pictures and it is currently available for inspection but I need to get it repaired soon. My wife and my safety and all other motorists traveling in front of us as the 21,000 pound trailer had no function brakes. It has not yet been confirmed by a dealer or independent service. No one has inspect it. Tow Vehicle brake controller indicated sending a signal to the RV brake system. I noticed some kind of fluid or lubricant on the drivers side rear tire but dismissed it as being excess grease from the bearings.

The plate that holds the wiring guide to the outside edge of the off door slide is too long. This is causing the plate to slice into the tire as the tire moves upward in its range of motion during travel. Luckily, I caught this before the tires blew and could have caused a major accident.

THE BOLT AND BUSHING CAME OUT OF THE LEFT REAR SPRING CONNECTING TO THE FRAME. ON MY WAY HOME, THE RIGHT SIDE APPEARS TO HAVE SHEARED THE GREASE ZERT AND THE REMAINDER OF THE BOLT IS STILL PARTIALLY ATTACHED ON ONE SIDE. THE VEHICLE HAD TO BE IN MOTION FOR THIS TO HAPPEN.
