Before proceeding with the normal procedure call Ali Ikram at (248) 576-9265 Mon- Fri between 8 am- 4pm. If you do not get a response within 15 minutes continue with the repair. Make sure that connector is inserted properly. If there is a need to replace camera. In case of bad wire harness. Replace the harness and have it sent back to QEC.

Flash: Powertrain Diagnostic And System Enhancements This bulletin involves reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with the latest available software. A small number of customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find the following DTCs set in the PCM memory: U1424 - Implausible Engine Torque Signal Received (2017 MY Only). P2681 - Engine Coolant Bypass Valve Control Circuit Open (3.6L Only). P0335 - Crankshaft Position Sensor Circuit. P2299-00 - Brake Pedal Position/Accelerator Pedal Position Incompatible. B23C3 - Stop/Start Disable Switch 1/2 Correlation (3.0L and 3.6L Only).In addition, customers may experience the following conditions: A shorter auxiliary battery life. An illuminated Automatic Oil Change Indication (AOCI) light (3.6L Only).Other enhancements included in this update: Improved knock sensor performance.

Auto Trans Rotary Electronic Shifter The rotary shifter is designed to actuate a motor within the device whenever the driver places their foot on the brake, with the car in Park (or Neutral). This generates a noise with each brake press/release. Therefore, even after replacing the shifter for a noise complaint, the replacement part will also have a characteristic noise generated whenever the driver steps on the brake. Before performing a repair procedure for a noise complaint, please perform a subjective analysis of the noise coming from the rotary shifter. If the shifter noise is deemed abnormal sound (has an uncharacteristic buzz or grind), please proceed with normal replacement procedure. If so equipped, record the sound with a handheld microphone, or cell phone, and if noise is above 54dB @ 30cm away from the knob, please proceed with normal replacement procedure.
