Positioned between the SL and Platinum trims, the new Dark Armor grade aims to offer a distinct appearance package. This trim features a darkened exterior treatment, including gloss black 21-inch wheels, sporty bumpers, and lower side molding.

Gloss black Nissan badges and specific Dark Armor badges on the front door panels complete the exterior modifications. Inside, the Dark Armor trim is exclusively available with Graphite interior upholstery.

Buyers can choose from six exterior paint options: Gun Metallic, Super Black, Scarlet Ember, Everest White, Boulder Gray with Super Black roof, and Everest White with Super Black roof.

Technology and Vehicle Highlights

The 2027 Murano integrates several advanced technologies designed for driver assistance and connectivity. It offers ProPILOT Assist 2.1, which enables hands-off freeway driving under specific conditions, requiring the driver to remain attentive.

The infotainment system features Google built-in, providing direct access to Google Maps, the Google Play Store, and Google Assistant through a 12.3-inch display. Further convenience features include available massaging front seats.

For parking and maneuvering, the Murano can be equipped with a 3D Enhanced Intelligent Around View Monitor, which includes full 3D rotation, Front Wide View, and Invisible Hood View capabilities. The Murano continues to be assembled at Nissan's Smyrna facility in Tennessee. It was recognized as the Best Midsize 2-Row SUV for the Money by U.S. News & World Report in 2026 and earned a 2026 Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) TOP SAFETY PICK+ designation.

The introduction of the Dark Armor grade and the confirmed 2027 Nissan Murano pricing provide consumers with new options for the crossover. With its blend of updated styling, advanced driver-assist systems, and integrated Google technology, the Murano aims to maintain its position in the competitive midsize SUV segment.
