Key Updates and Features

For the 2027 model year, the Carnival EX and SX trims now offer available second-row Captain’s Chairs. This addition provides improved access to the third row and greater seating versatility. Exterior color options have also been revised, with Iceberg Green being introduced for the EX, SX, and SX Prestige models, while Flare Red has been discontinued.

The Dark Edition Package, which adds distinctive styling elements, is now available on the EX trim, expanding its reach beyond higher-tier models. The rear-seat entertainment system will now be offered exclusively on Hybrid SX Prestige models equipped with VIP Lounge Seats, which feature a one-touch relaxation mode, heating, ventilation, leg extensions, and ambient mood lighting.

Connectivity and convenience features are extensive across the 2027 Kia Carnival lineup. Standard equipment includes a 12.3-inch ccNC Navigation System with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with SiriusXM and a modem. Higher trims offer an available dual 12.3-inch panoramic curved display for the digital instrument cluster and infotainment. The vehicle also supports a Wi-Fi hotspot and Over-the-Air (OTA) update capabilities. Up to nine USB-C ports are distributed across all three rows, complemented by two 115V inverters and wireless phone charging. Available advanced features include Digital Key 2.0 and a head-up display.

Advanced Driver Assistance Systems

The 2027 Kia Carnival MPV comes equipped with a comprehensive suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Standard safety features include Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with pedestrian, cyclist, and junction turning detection, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Following Assist, and Driver Attention Warning. Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go is also standard.

Available ADAS technologies on higher trims include Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist and Highway Driving Assist 2. Parking assistance is enhanced with available Surround View Monitor, Blind-Spot View Monitor, Parking Distance Warning for front, rear, and side, and Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist in reverse. The Carnival also includes Rear Occupant Alert with a radar sensor and Safe Exit Assist.
