Honda Aircraft Company is set to feature its largest display ever at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2026, taking place from July 20-26 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The event will mark the first public display in the United States of Honda's 1/3-scale electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) flight-test model, a key part of the Honda eVTOL AirVenture showcase. This appearance also commemorates two decades of aviation development by Honda Aircraft Company.

New Technologies and Aircraft on Display

The highlight of Honda's exhibit at Booth 407 will be the eVTOL flight-test model. This Honda eVTOL AirVenture debut represents the company's active research into hybrid eVTOL systems that integrate electric propulsion with proprietary gas turbine hybrid technology. This approach aims to deliver extended range, operational flexibility, and enhanced passenger comfort for future air mobility.

Visitors will also see a HondaJet HA-420 equipped with the APMG S performance upgrade package, representing the company's current pre-owned aircraft inventory. The display will extend beyond aviation to include Honda and Acura heritage vehicles, alongside various Honda powersports and racing products, showcasing the breadth of Honda's mobility efforts.

Engagement and Education Initiatives

For the first time, the Honda Hangar, a dedicated broadcast studio, will be part of the exhibit. Throughout the week, daily discussions will offer insights into Honda technologies, emerging mobility projects, and introduce key personnel driving innovation within the organization. These discussions will be recorded and made available on the HondaJet YouTube channel.

Honda Aircraft Company continues its support for STEM education by serving as the presenting sponsor for EAA's GirlVenture Camp. This program provides young women in grades 9-12 with opportunities to connect with pilots and industry professionals, participate in aviation-focused workshops, and engage in flight simulation activities.

Honda Aircraft Company's Growth and Future

Established in 2006, Honda Aircraft Company operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of American Honda Motor Co., Inc., with its world headquarters located in North Carolina. The company is responsible for the research, development, sales, marketing, customer service, and manufacturing of the HondaJet Elite II. Global deliveries of the HondaJet surpassed 250 units in 2024.

Building on its success, Honda Aircraft is currently developing the HondaJet Echelon, an 11-occupant aircraft. This new model is planned for production in North Carolina, alongside the existing HondaJet Elite II, as the company expands its presence in the aviation sector.

Honda's significant presence at EAA AirVenture 2026 underscores its continued investment in diverse mobility solutions. The debut of the Honda eVTOL model and the celebration of two decades of aircraft manufacturing highlight the company's ongoing efforts to shape future transportation, with the Honda eVTOL AirVenture display serving as a central point.
