BMW M3 E30 Joins LEGO Speed Champions Lineup

The BMW M3 E30, an iconic vehicle with a significant racing heritage, is now available as a LEGO® Speed Champions set. This new kit, co-created by the BMW Group and the LEGO Group, celebrates the 40th anniversary of the first-generation BMW M3. The collaboration introduces a unique livery design applied to both the scaled-down model and an authentic showcar.

This release expands the partnership between the two companies, offering fans a detailed replica of the classic touring car. The BMW M3 E30 LEGO set aims to capture the essence of the original, featuring design elements such as the distinctive BMW kidney grille, the rear spoiler, and the characteristic four round headlights of the M3 E30.

New LEGO Speed Champions Set Details

The newly released LEGO® Speed Champions BMW M3 E30 kit consists of 358 pieces. Once assembled, the model measures 17 centimeters (approximately 6.7 inches) long and 7 centimeters (approximately 2.8 inches) wide. It includes functional wheels and a realistic driver minifigure, complete with a BMW M T-shirt.

A key feature of this set is its exclusive livery, which was jointly designed by the BMW Group and LEGO Group design teams. This livery pays homage to the M3 E30's racing legacy and draws inspiration from BMW M Motorsport. Uniquely, this design has also been applied to a full-size BMW M3 E30 showcar, which will accompany the launch of the LEGO set.

Availability and Merchandise

The BMW M3 E30 LEGO Speed Champions set is currently available for pre-order through LEGO.com. Its official release date is August 1, 2026, when it will become available in LEGO stores, on LEGO.com worldwide, and at BMW dealers in the EU/UK. The recommended retail price for the set is €27.99.

In addition to the model kit, a scaled-up version of the driver minifigure's T-shirt will be available for purchase starting August 1, 2026. This organic cotton T-shirt, featuring high-quality prints on both the front and back, can be purchased from BMW dealers and lifestyle.bmw.com.
