Audi is introducing a series of updates for the 2027 Q3 model year, focusing on increased standard equipment, new digital functionalities, and a revised package structure. These enhancements aim to improve the compact SUV's utility and technological offerings, including a significant boost in towing capacity for the plug-in hybrid variant.

Enhanced Standard Equipment and Package Structure

For the 2027 model year, the Audi Q3 will include several features as standard that were previously optional. These new standard inclusions are a convenience key, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, and a reversing camera, making these amenities accessible across the entire Q3 lineup.

Audi has also restructured its equipment packages into three distinct tiers: Tech, Tech plus, and Tech pro. This reorganization allows for a broader selection of individual options, such as suspension upgrades, acoustic glazing, a Sonos sound system, lumbar support, and hold assist for the electromechanical parking brake.

Advanced Digital Features and Driver Assistance

The 2027 Audi Q3 updates introduce a 10.9-inch passenger display as an available option, marking its first appearance in the Q3 model. Driver assistance systems also see improvements, with the adaptive cruise assist now integrating online data and swarm data to refine speed and following distance adjustments, as well as longitudinal and lane guidance.

Remote control functionality for park assist pro and the trained parking feature is now available via the myAudi smartphone app. A new Valet Mode has been added to secure personal data by locking the screen and buttons when the vehicle is handed over to others. The infotainment system is now based on Android Automotive, allowing direct access to apps like Microsoft Teams without requiring a connected smartphone, and the integrated Audi assistant provides natural voice control for various vehicle functions.

Utility and Connectivity Improvements

Utility aspects of the Q3 have also been addressed. The Q3 e-hybrid model now boasts an increased towing capacity of up to 2,000 kilograms, representing a 600-kilogram improvement over its predecessor. This makes the plug-in hybrid a more capable option for towing trailers or boats.

Digital Matrix LED headlights, featuring micro-LED technology, dynamically adjust light distribution to prevent glare for oncoming traffic and offer customizable light signatures. Connectivity is further enhanced with a wireless smartphone charger in the center console that supports the Magnetic Power Profile standard, boosting charging power from 15 to 25 watts. Rear passengers benefit from three USB-C ports, each capable of delivering up to 100 watts of charging power. The steering wheel controls have also been redesigned, combining touch-sensitive buttons with haptic rollers.

These 2027 Audi Q3 updates aim to provide owners and prospective buyers with a more technologically advanced, comfortable, and versatile compact SUV experience. Order books for the 2027 Audi Q3 opened on July 2, 2026, with production scheduled to begin in early September 2026. European market pricing starts from 44,600 euros for the Q3 SUV and 46,450 euros for the Q3 Sportback.
