Toyota has received reports that certain 2005 through 2008 model year Tacoma vehicles operated in specific cold climate areas (Cold Climate States) with high road salt usage may exhibit more-than-normal corrosion to the vehicle?s frame. ? Toyota investigated these reports and determined that the frames in some vehicles may not have corrosion-resistant protection sufficient for use in these areas. ? This combined with prolonged exposure to road salts and other environmental factors may contribute to the development of more-than-normal rust in the frame of some vehicles. ? This condition is unrelated to and separate from normal surface rust which is commonly found on metallic surfaces after some years of usage and/or exposure to the environment.

Various Bluetooth Audio functions are no longer functioning with the customer?s phone, such as the ability to change the track using the steering wheel controls. These concerns can be caused by changes made on the customer?s phone. Make sure to inquire with the customer if the connectivity concerns occurred after receiving an operating system update on their phone or if they have restored their phone data/settings recently.

Frame and ancillary parts orders must be submitted no later than Tuesday, April 5th, 2016 following the expiration date. CRC APPLICATION ? E0D ONLY Last day of CRC application is March 31, 2016, regardless of vehicle inspection date taking place on or before the expiration date. Claims will not be paid for any vehicle sprayed after March, 31 2016 and are not eligible for goodwill. The last day for CRC kit orders is March 29, 2016 and as a reminder the kits are not returnable. CRC kit orders are shipped ground and take approximately 3 days for delivery; please take this into consideration when ordering to ensure they arrive prior to the expiration date. Orders should also not exceed campaign appointments.
